misc (417) - Vienna, AUSTRIA - MAR 31, 2018
Aroma is roasty. It smells like coffee, roasted breadcrust, toffee and dark chocolate. Dark brown to black color. Flavor is light sweet and medium bitter. It tastes like coffee, dark chocolate, cocoa. Body is medium, mouthfeel creamy. Finish light bitter, very good balanced. I like it. 0,33l

herrklemann (673) - Graz, AUSTRIA - FEB 23, 2018
Overdue bottle from the cellar, 5 months after the best before date. Big, creamy, beige head on a cola-black body. Very subtle aroma of bread, caramel, coffee, fogs, a bit woody and nutty, indeed some cola. Light sweetness, a bit mineralic with tart undertones, almost no bitterness in the finish. Incredibly smooth, medium body with soft but active carbonation. Long, nutty and sweet finish. Really smooth stuff.

hrabren (2119) - Zagreb, CROATIA - FEB 13, 2018
UPDATED: FEB 13, 2018 0.33 l bottle from Beerlovers, Vienna. Shared with Slušaj vamo! Dark brown, medium creamy tan head. Syrupy, sugary, fruity. Nutty, fruity. Sweet. Medium body, moderate carbonation, moderate finish. Nice, although not very complex and a bit too sweet.

UPDATED: FEB 13, 2018 Bottled. Dark cola body, off white head. Soft malty aroma, dark maltiness, dried figs, okay. Soft taste, lean, pleasant, dried figs and light light roast. Solid nuff. For the abv, great!

Nocturne (2238) - Cheshire, ENGLAND - DEC 31, 2017
330ml bottle. Dark brown. Large initial head. Heavy roasted aroma, coffee, tar, grainy. Taste is fairly bitter without the sweetness I’d expect.

Grumbo (4951) - Ipswich, Suffolk, ENGLAND - DEC 9, 2017
Bottle at the Ipswich winter bottle share. Source BeerLovers, Vienna. Pours black with a lasting beige head. Aroma of chocolate, dark fruit, and light liquorice. Medium plus sweetness, moderate roasted bitterness. Medium body, slight oily texture, soft carbonation. Milk chocolate finish.

vami (628) - Poznan, POLAND - OCT 17, 2017
Thanks to Geiserich. Aroma is dark roasted bread (like in a doppelbock), pumpernickel, old coffee. Taste is bready, toasted. Not enough gravity, not enough coffee, drinkable, but not a real baltic porter.

SarkyNorthener (5144) - West Bromwich (Yorkshire Expat), West Midlands, ENGLAND - JUL 23, 2017
Bottle shared thanks to s_Hartshorne, cheers Shane. Black beer with small head. Aroma of dark malts and dark fruit. Taste is dark fruit, ash, licorice and chocolate. Medium bodied. Excellent.

Bottle, many thanks Werckmeister! Brown color with beige head. Aroma is black chocolate, roasted malts, touch of dried prunes, a bit earthy-nutty. Taste is chocolate and roasted malts again, a bit milk chocolate toffee. Medium carbonation. Very luscious Baltic Porter!
