Black colored with little brown head. Roasted coffee aroma with thin vanilla, some chocolate and salt here as well. Medium to full bodied. Flavor is also bit salty, still roastiness dominating. Aftertaste is still bit sweet, not too much though. Good one, well balanced.

Flavours is malty with chocolate sweetness and a roasted bitterness to finish. Coffee still present after all these tears. Lovely, Stuu666 (15085) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - AUG 2, 2014

And the flavor keeps on your mouth for a while. Beer5000 (6774) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - OCT 2, 2013
340 ml bottle. Dark brown, almost black body with a dense brown head. Nice and strong aroma of dark malt, roasted coffee and bouillon. Flavor is sweet, dark malt, roasted coffee and molasses. Fine body and both coffee and hops in the aftertaste. Nice and solid. Davros (3310) - Melbourne, AUSTRALIA - JUL 22, 2013

Nose shows heavy roasted malt, cocoa, big coffee notes, woody characters and booze. A bit aggressively roasted.
Similar flavours. Very heavy roast with some coffee in the background and some smokey notes.
Nice creamy carbonation.
At just on cool and into a snifter. Produces the darkest of brown with little evident carbonation and a quickly diminishing head. Molasses, bonfire ash, fresh strapped leather, cocoa butter and milk chocolate dominate the nose with a touch of lightly roasted coffee and Ovaltine ™. Sweet, juicy, rounded and malty on the palate. Roasted coffee bean, cocoa and roasted carob, a hint of nutmeg, mace, raw timber, rich molasses. Body is on the lighter side but adequate; it is rounded and flavoursome enough. Finishes dry and yields that alcohol well. I’d be drunkenly mistaken for quaffing a lighter stout. Easy drinking and deceptively strong, but nothing more! 340mL bottle. Pours black with a big mocha head that faded quickly. Very nice sweet whisky/molasses like aroma, both of which are also present in the flavour with and added bitter coffee hit. Gramoit (494) - Surrey, ENGLAND - JUN 11, 2013
Black with tanned head in appearance. Pretty good stout this without ’wowing’ me. Alcohol well hidden and went down effortlessly. gam (4103) - brisbane, AUSTRALIA - MAY 26, 2013
