COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Five different dark grains, molasses and freshly roasted African coffee beans went into this rich and decadent sweet-stout. This beer is unfiltered and matured in the bottle and will continue to improve for the next 2-3 years. After fermentation a portion of the beer was matured on medium-toast french oak providing subtle hints of vanilla and coconut.
Pour carefully to avoid disturbing the sediment.

Japalo (1887) - DENMARK - JUL 1, 2011
Bottle. Black with small beige head. Fat oily body. Roasted cereals with pronounced coffee aromas. Round sweet dry palate. Strong coffee brew prefer more bitterness to sweetness like Beer Geek Brunch.

Sevenlee (1846) - Central Coast, NSW, AUSTRALIA - MAY 11, 2013
Pours black with a light brown head. Aroma is roasted malt, plenty of coffee, caramel and wood. Taste is medium to high sweet leading to a moderate bitter and roasty finish. Very good.

LoFi (1763) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - OCT 2, 2011
Bottle. Black with a light-brown head. Aroma: sweet cold coffee, medwurst, something vinous. Taste: espresso, coffee grounds, and a kind of coffee acidity, salty licorice, mayonnaise, some chocolate, a very familiar taste from some type of alcohol. Above medium-bodied, average+ carbonation. Jag förstår poängen med den här men den är lite för sumpig.

kschep (1707) - DENMARK - MAY 27, 2011
nose is stale coffee, roasted malt, cane sugar, weak hops, feel is medium, carb is low, taste is warm, little wood chip, sour fruit, medium hops finish

Sydafrikanskt? Jo, tydligen. Det här var en riktigt trevlig upplevelse och tydligen kan afrikaner brygga öl. Framförallt ger öletiketten mig lite kraftwerk influenser, men jag är trots allt lite efterbliven.

Adenila (1560) - DENMARK - AUG 5, 2011
Poors dark brown with a medium dense brown head. Rick aroma, molasses, lots of coffee, toffee and roasted malts. Thick palate, lots of roasted bitterness, coffee and suger giving it a touch of belgian yeast sweetness. Nice

2.8
humlelala (1375) - DENMARK - APR 13, 2012
(33 cl bottle from Toft Vin; BBD: November 1st 2013) Pours dark brown with medium, off-white head that recedes quickly leaving a thin film. Some lace. Nose is mostly molasses and bready with a hint of oxidation. Doesn’t improve much as it warms up. Flavour is syrup with notes of coffee and a hint of oak. Carbonation is flat, full bodied, oily texture with a sweet finish. Girlfriend says: "It tastes a bit of candy. It’s okay. It’s very strong though."

3.8
bax (1312) - Hasselager, Aarhus, DENMARK - JUN 20, 2011
(Bottle 20/6-2011) Large brown head, black color, sweet coffee taste, alcohol level fit the malt body of beer well.
