Rating #1976 2015.09.26 #CraftTakesSeattle Day 3, Beer 77 Draught at Taphouse Grill. Nice amber/orange colour with a dcent white/tan foam with medium retention. Aroma is sweet, toffee malt,. Taste is very strong, caramel malt and a hint of toffee/spiced pudding. Bold malt forward amber that is quite drinkable. fiulijn (21214) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUN 6, 2016

Dark amber color, compact head. Dark caramel, not too dry, with a good body strength, a bit dusty.
Decent Amber Ale.
On tap at Big Al, pours a hazy dark amber red with a small beige head. Aroma brings out bready malts and not much else. Flavour is along the same lines, where bready malts and a slight herbal quality. Nothing much going on here. It’s okay. RhetoricalAns (973) - Red Deer, Alberta, CANADA - OCT 26, 2015
Draft. Deep mahogany pour, small off-white head. Caramel nose, some fruit notes. Sweet malt taste. Decent red. Davhgbrew (948) - Seattle, Washington, USA - MAY 21, 2015
Deep mohagany color. Thin white head. First sip is malty caramel backed by a nice balance of hop bitterness and dryness. Has the slight adjunct corn flavor u might expect in an Irish red. Not malty sweet by any means, this is a dry irish red. Body is medium though and doesn’t feel weak at any point. Nice brew, but I’ll only have it again if ur buying :)

Draft pour. Dark pour for a lighter beer. Very malty yet rich flavor. Very odd aroma which I am having trouble describing. Overall a very drinkable beer but not too memorable. Dogbrick (13777) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - SEP 21, 2012
Sample at the brewpub. The beer is a mostly clear dark amber color with a medium off-white head that recedes steadily. Stringy lacing. Aroma of malt, caramel and hops. Medium-bodied with flavors of toasted malt, caramel and mild hops. The finish is sweet with a short malty aftertaste. Slightly above average overall. luttonm (6760) - Seattle, Washington, USA - AUG 7, 2012
Draft. Heavy rich malt body, dark red caramel brown. Alcohol and sour-alt malting, a bit of a mess. Reminiscent of the ’big red’ beer brewed in Serbia, not a great comparison, funky malts, residual sugars and alc bite. coolpop (1394) - Birmingham, Alabama, USA - JUN 4, 2011
Draft at Magic City Brewfest. Pours a clear amber with a medium-sized off white head. Aroma and flavor were odd. A bit sour with some other off flavors. I’m hoping this was a bad keg. But it didn’t seem so bad as to be a mis-brew. In any case, definitely didn’t strike me as a red ale.
