Amber and cloudy. Bretty, oaky and tart. Thin, with lots of sour and brett. Throat-grabbing. But really, it’s a pretty basic tart beer with limited watermelon character. BrewDad (5667) - Olympia, Washington, USA - FEB 8, 2010

Big Al – Watermelon Sour
Big watermelon aroma and flavor. This was like a hard candy that was made into a beer. The sour was subtle you could drink this well with our spicy dinner. Interesting beer to say the least glad I got to try it.
Vinegar and watermelon candy on the nose. Hazy orange amber pour with no head. Almost stagnant looking. Watermelon candy flavors up front and throughout on top of a medium sour vinegar base. Interesting to say the least. Softly carbonated, tart and quenching. A little more carbonation would have been preferred however. scrizzz (2223) - Bothell, Washington, USA - NOV 8, 2009
Presented at the WABL 4th Anniversary party. Hazy brown, quiet in the glass. Absent head. Sour tart watermelon aroma has a noticeable sweet side as well, like an unartificial jolly rancher. Clean and sways back and forth between sweet and tart. The melon works really well with the sour base.
