Amber color with a smaller beige head. Caramel malt, grain, toasted white bread and touch of resin in the aromas. Quite sweet , with just a hint of caramel, actually closer to brown sugar. A touch of iron in the finish and linger. 2/11

Bottle @ home, thanks to Andy and Secret Krampus. Dark amber pour with a small khaki head. Aromas of water and malt. Slight bread and caramel. Pretty much no hop character. Bland, bland, bland. At least no major flaws. This is just water with a bit of caramel and bread flavor to it. Mild sweetness, no bitterness or hop character, and nothing enjoyable at all. At least it’s not offensive, I guess. Frank (4172) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAR 6, 2014
This beer pours a cloudy orange w/ a scant white head. It has a very mild nose that is mostly nutty malt character. It has mild carbonation and is unfortunately a bit watery as well. Its short finish is just a touch of earthy bitterness. There’s nothing really outright wrong w/ this beer--no strong off-flavors or anything--but it is remarkably bland. nuplastikk (6208) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - MAR 1, 2014
Bottle pour sample at Big Bay. Filtered caramel amber body. Horrendous nasty amber malt aroma. Equally bad taste, this is really quite unpleasant. Nasty garbage off undertones. Big diacetyl oddness. Pretty weird to pay for this. Offensive. Putrid. drywallman (362) - Lake in the Hills, Illinois, USA - JUN 23, 2013
This one met the glass with a caramel color and a caramel malt to match. The head was dark beige and only short lived as expected. Hops were a matching herbal to counter the caramel. Nothing special, but a potential good session brew.

Pours a clear amber with a white head that dissipates quickly. The aroma is malty, with bread, buts, and a bit of caramel. Taste isn’t extremely complicated either. More caramel comes out and there is some noticeable yeast flavors. I find a butterscotch taste in here as well. Some bitterness here. Short aftertaste of caramel and nuts. Light in body with a more thin texture. Nothing really all that special here. TheHOFF43 (2052) - Robbinsdale, Minnesota, USA - APR 14, 2013
Sample at beerfest. Nice amber ale, lacks any type of hops punch. Good color, solid caramel malts. starewich (170) - - OCT 25, 2012
Very plain all-around, and a bit sour. Has a kick not seen in most amber but not enough of one to recommend solely because of it. BVery (10312) - Plymouth, Minnesota, USA - APR 6, 2012
Bottle. Dark gold to amber pour with a nice foamy cream-colored head. Aroma is nut and malt. Palate is moderate. Taste is malty, but with a bit of astringency. hopheadsbrew (142) - Illinois, USA - APR 3, 2012
Good head. Nice amber color. Malty and hoppy nose slight fruit doughty bready undertone. Crisp an refreshing. Nice clean flavor. Good malt and hops balance.
