Had on cask at the brewpub in Coral Springs. Fairly weak sweet stout, with some bitterness. So bittersweet. Dark brown colour with some white head. No like too much. daknole (11050) - Scottsdale, Arizona, USA - JAN 14, 2009
Tap. Black pour, big creamy light colored head. Aroma is malty andhas some notes of espresso, molasses and chocolate. Flavor is creamy as all hell and has some nice roasted malt flavors finishing with a bit of coffee and chocolate. Well done. hopscotch (11182) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - DEC 24, 2007
Nitro… Pitch black ale with a small, ultra creamy, khaki head. Terrific retention. Restrained chocolate nose with whispers of butterscotch and vanilla. The flavor offers plenty of typical, nitro-induced, dry stout characteristics. Chocolaty with hints of darkly roasted coffee and muted charcoal or ash. Light to medium-bodied with a velvety mouthfeel with low carbonation. Lengthy, acrid, bone-dry finish. omhper (25565) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - AUG 22, 2005
Draught at the brewpub. Near black. Very roasty with lots of coffee and dark chocolate. Dry with medium body. The finish has lingering licorice and bitterness. A lovely, dry stout.
