Pours light orange with not much carbonation. No head. Taste is rather bland followed by a slight bitterness. Very light beer. Not a bad beer for what it is.

Bottle. Pale yellow appearance, medium off white head. A sweet flowery nose is in stark contrast to the flavor. Tastes fine at first sip, light and yeasty, but then the aftertaste kicks in and it is like vinegar is coating your tongue and stuck in the back of your mouth. It is very interesting but not amazingly good. And yet...you get used to it and then I felt it was fairly refreshing. Haven’t had many Kolsh style beers so I’m not sure if this is typical. I’ll take a Kolsh if it is offered but I dont think I’ll go out of my way to get one. drfabulous (8590) - Lexington, Kentucky, USA - SEP 24, 2009
Crisp, light kolsch. Not a style I normally drink, so hard to say much about it. Smooth. Nothing sticks out that makes it above the ordinary. bubbleflubber (2235) - Swannanoa, North Carolina, USA - SEP 6, 2009
On draught at the High Country Beer Fest, it pours clear straw with a good head, reducing to light lace notes. The nose is extremely reminiscent of a country farm, bountiful with silage. Light hues of sweet malt and grains. This follows in tow with a similar finish. The body is light and the texture is clean. It’s ok, especially for a brew style that doesn’t have a lot of heavy hitters. jkwalking05 (4745) - Arlington, Texas, USA - AUG 18, 2009
Bottle thanks to ericandersnavy. Hazy gold in color with an average sized white head. Aroma is of grain, caramel, and honey. Taste is the same.

A solid example of a kolsch, or at least an Americanized version... it has that murky/musty malty flavor that hangs in the back corners of your mouth and sits there like old cheese. boomer0813 (100) - denton, Texas, USA - AUG 12, 2009
Bottle thanks to ericandersnavy. Poursed a light gold with a white head. Aroma of a sour peach and hay. Flavor was of butter and honey. Strange beer. travita (5008) - Dallas, Texas, USA - AUG 7, 2009
bottle thanks to ericandersnavy. The look is clear, has an off white head, and is golden in color. The smell is sweet, flowers, floral, fruits, and yeast. The taste is watery, floral, yeast, and blah. bu11zeye (13215) - Frisco (Dallas), Texas, USA - JUN 23, 2009
(12oz bottle, courtesy of ericandersnavy) Pours a lightly hazy yellow body with a small white head. Aroma of grain, earth, and hay. Flavor of grass, grain, and doughy bread. RollinHard (1024) - Fort Worth, Texas, USA - JUN 23, 2009
deep gold pour with a small head. Aroma of vague grain, fruit, and sourdough. Tastes similar but sweeter, with some earthy hops as well. Finishes with bitter citrus. Pretty nice, but perhaps too much citrus in the finish.
