Our Kölsch is a refreshingly pale German style Ale. It is cold fermented and cold conditioned to achieve a beautiful balance between biscuit malt flavors and floral hop notes. It is light bodied and finishes somewhat dry to enhance it's easy drinking nature. Please enjoy our interpretation of this beer of Zümmer! Editor's Note: Renamed Angry Angel Kolsch by the brewer.

8-17-08 bottle thanks to miketd
Semi to medium clarity. Light watery orangish amber in color with a thin q-tip white head. Smell is dough - big bold dough! Flavor is light and doughy with no hefty yeast or funk aspects. Drinkable and enjoyable yet light and quiet. Overall, an easy summer drink.

12 oz. bottle courtesy ucusty. Thanks! Pours a slightly cloudy amber-orange with a weak, quickly disappearing head. Syrupy peach/pineapple aroma with grain and caramel notes. Much drier taste with some fruity notes, grass, hay and bitter hops. Medium bodied.

Murky yellow color out of the bottle with a fizzy white head. Sweet nose with some light malts. Light beer with some honey, lemon, and light buscuit dough that gets a little heavy in the finish. Decent summer beer.

Bottle from miketd. Thanks man! Pours a rich cloudy golden with a small whitish head. Smell is sweet fresh light malt and honey lemon. Taste is slightly thin, but crisp and refreshing. Very drinkable and very lightly hopped. Touch too bland, but a decent kolsch.

Pours a hazy straw golden color forming a nice white foamy head. Aroma of light straw grass, a bit of malty buds, and slight ocean water. Flavour of raw straw, earthen dirt, and malted breads. A Straight up Kolsch beer, no doubt. Easy drinker, clean and refreshing. Not a knock out or memorable beer, yet a good one for the lawn.

A little heavy for a Kolsch but still good. Nice nose greated with a light white head. Poured a clear yellow. taste was good, some fruit and maltiness. carbonation was good but mouthfeel was a little heavy for style. Nice for a state side Kolsch. Good for sessions!

12 oz, bottled June 08. foggy orange-amber with a half-inch lasting head and some nice soapy lace. Earthy-sweet honey and cereal aroma. Flavor is grain, lemon, cardboard and a hint of honey. Near-medium body is soft, dry and lightly carbonated.

Date: 08/14/08, 12 oz. bottle

Aroma - Grain, grass, light fruit, floral

Appearance - Crystal clear yellow gold, healthy white head that settles slowly, lace is delicate, but lasting

Flavor - Sweet fruity flavors and light malt start quickly, very gently bitterness builds into the finish.

Palate - Light body and carbonation, nice mouthfeel, smooth, lightly dry

Overall - Good flavor, refreshing, balanced, but maltier that the few German examples that I’ve had.

pint @ MacGregors. So-so aroma, sweet n& sour, had a weird green olive scent toasted grain. Clean yellowy gold color, Ok head, little to no lace. Spiced sweet flavor Minor yeastiness, cardboard, stale bread. Lite body, watery mouthfeel, bitter spiced finish. eh, hope it was this pint otherwise I didn’t enjoy it much.
