pours a cloudy golden with a small white head. nose of coriander, spices and sweet malts. flavor follows suit. A very nice doublt wit with alcohol well hidden. NicerInPerson (337) - North of Raleigh, North Carolina, USA - JUN 10, 2007
The aroma was bitter orange peel and coriander with a peppery spice note. Wheat made an appearance and brought with it a light sweetness and caramel character. In the glass the beer was lightly hazy pale golden with a low persistent white head which laced the glass. The flavor was malty with a nice caramel sweetness and orange/coriander character. The peppery spice was very well done and the wheat flavor (unmalted) was spot on. The body was medium-full and the mouthfeel was round and creamy. Only a very slight presence of alcohol was notable. Very refreshing and a great pint! Pint at Tyler’s in Durham. ucusty (2693) - raleigh, North Carolina, USA - JUN 25, 2007
I was quite impressed with this beer. On tap at Tylers in Durham, NC. Pours gold and smells like corriander and citrus. Light lacing. This was a great thrist quencher that has nice warming capabilities. A sweet balance of flavors consisting of caramel, wheat and malts Magjayran (1379) - Durham, North Carolina, USA - MAY 26, 2007
Hazy yellow color with a fairly thick white head. Fruity aroma brings bananas and spicy bread to mind. All the good refreshing flavor you expect from a witbier but with a nice hearty mouthfeel. Works great as a warm weather thirst quencher but I can’t help but think it might work just as well in the wintertime as a warmer. JCB (3999) - Durham, North Carolina, USA - MAY 30, 2007
Pint at Tyler’s, Durham. Well, this is a pretty jacked up witbier. Another winner from Big Boss, who are really coming on strong in N. Carolina. A lustrous and somewhat cloudy amber body, it’s got a big spiced palate up front, with hints of banana and orange peel in the nose. As you warm up to it, there’s some alcohol heat (a bit too much, which is why the flavor rating isn’t better) and spice. Really nice stuff.

Hazy yellow-gold color with a minimal head. Aroma is big, sweet, & spicy - lots of orange peel, coriander, and assorted spices. Flavor is sweet with citrus, banana, pepper, wheat, and earthy spice. Nice tingle as it goes down. Unique - I would put this one above Southampton’s Double White elmatador00 (519) - Raleigh, North Carolina, USA - JUL 20, 2008
Draught at Tylers in Durham. Pours a hazy golden color with a frothy white head. Great notes of sweet wheat. Aroma is quite good as well. Tastes of cotton candy. Finishes with a great sweet taste, yet not to sugary. biznizness (1128) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - JUN 28, 2008
Wow... awesome beer. Also had this at the brewpub, with Ryan and Chris, while playing photohunt. We didn’t know you could get the adult version until we were done. Bogus. emacgee (4705) - Chapel Hill, North Carolina, USA - JUL 11, 2008
Poured at Milltown. Pours a soft yellow gold with a one finger white head. Doesn’t look like a Belgian White, filtered maybe? The nose is a little sweet, some citrus, alcohol, a little bit of wheat and yeast imprint. Not as big as I would like it to be. The flavor is similar, a little warm, some orange, sweet, not much yeast or wheat flavor. Tastey.
