Type: 12-oz. bottle
Glass: Boulevard Ales pint glass
From: Trader Joe’s in Ballantyne (Charlotte), N.C.
Price: $1.67 (I think)
Purchased: July 26, 2014

Poured a honey, golden hazy color with 1-to-2 fingers of off-white head that went away quickly. Minimal lacing on the sides of the glass. Minimal retention on the top.
Smelled Belgian spices, kiwi, apple, grape, banana, cloves, cinnamon, slight wintry whiff, peppery spices and caramel.
Tasted pretty close to the nose with caramel, kiwi, Belgian spices, apple, green grapes, cloves, banana, slight peppery spices, cinnamon and still that wintry mix.
Medium body. Oily texture. Average carbonation. Abrupt, fruity finish.
A pretty good Belgian beer overall.

sample, too much booze in this one, lots of yeast flavors and a ton of malts, no real finesse or drinkablity AKORN (221) - Virginia, USA - JUL 16, 2014
Pours a light golden color with a good head. Fruity, yeast, spice aroma(like they said). Mild Belgian yeast taste, spices, buttery and crisp with a mild bitterness on the end. OK beer deaconmike (470) - Roswell, Georgia, USA - JUN 6, 2014
On tap at Carolina ale house at RDU. Clear golden with thin white cap. Aroma is fruity, banana, clove and yeast. Similar taste; very sweet, no real bitterness to balance. Slick mouthfeel. Decent Belgian, but sweeter than I prefer. Beerathon (1680) - Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 16, 2014
Look- yellow with flecks of orange and think head with some lacing. Nose- clove, banana, sugar. Flavor- nice carbonation, bready, Belgian yeast, fruits. Decent.

12 oz bottle: Aroma is banana, fruity, yeast with a wonderful floral note. Appearance is a clear golden with a medium white head that diminishes slowly. Taste is nicely balanced Belgian ale with a nice smooth floral note with a yeast note. Palate is lightly dry with a lingering fruit note in the aftertaste. Overall, Refreshing nice stuff. Cheers! Aroma is sweet and mild, taste is about the same with slight bitterness at the end. It’s smooth which I like. penguinfinity (107) - North Carolina, USA - FEB 25, 2014
Bottle. Pours clear, golden yellow, with no head, just a little lacing. Smells sweet. Taste is sweet, a little sour, like fruit candy. A lot of flavors going on at once, not bitter at all. Will definitely buy again. BeerandBlues2 (14018) - Escondido, California, USA - FEB 6, 2014
Tap at Barley’s - Asheville. Pours clear gold with a medium, frothy white head, medium retention with good lacing. Aroma is biscuit and honey malt with pear and pineapple esters, ginger, black pepper, earthy and spicy hops. Flavor is spices and moderate crisp malt, light hops and bitterness with a sweet finish. Medium body and carbonation. DialSquare (5186) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - JAN 6, 2014
