1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Had this beer out of a pint glass...pours a nice blonde color ...has a smell of yeast and fruits ...no head and little lacing....has an unbalanced taste of yeast, malts and very little hops some clove and other spices are present ...but there is just something very overpowering in this beer the aftertaste is horrible in my opinion ...over all if you like this style of beer my hats off to ya its a brew you either love or hate and in my case I wont have this again just not worth the price although I may try other styles from big boss because its local to me....cheers
Holy shit what a beer. Smells and looks great. The taste then hits and it's smooth yet abv is nicely high

Bottle from Harris Teeter, Hampstead, North Carolina. Golden with a carbonation. Strong tasting well styled Belgian ale with banana eventually coming to the fore in both aroma and taste. nickd717 (4999) - San Francisco, California, USA - APR 20, 2017
Bottle. Hazy golden with a lasting white head. Aroma is phenolic, banana bread, aside. Flavor is somewhat sweet, lots of fruity esters, some spice, virtually no bitterness. Medium body, lower carbonation. Meh GenDV138 (7899) - Falls Church, Virginia, USA - JUN 20, 2016
12 oz bottle courtesy of a friend, thanks Mike! Hazy orange with a little off-white head. Aromas of banana, herbs and cloves, wheat, a touch of alcohol. Tastes of banana, herbs, cloves, malt, some citrus. Medium-light body with a dry finish. chinchill (5377) - South Carolina, USA - DEC 31, 2015
12 oz bottle, marked brewed May 2011 (from 2011 notes), poured into a pint glass. Some of the additional sediment in bottom of bottle added after the first few sips.
A - Hazy golden color, darker than a standard American lager, with a 1 finger of-white head. The head has moderate duration and leaves little lacing. Sediment (yeast?) in bottom of glass. Sediment suspended
Aroma: Mainly a moderately strong, fruity and yeasty. Hints of coriander. cloves & cinnamon in the nose The 7% ABV is partly apparent in the nose although mostly hidden upon tasting.
Taste: this is a surprisingly malty ale with a fine yeasty Belgian bent. a good bit of clove, and some mild tartness. Different from any beer I can remember and with very enjoyable flavor, finish and aftertaste.
M - medium-light body; well-chosen carbonation; semi-dry finish; lightly crisp.

Poured from a 12 OZ bottle into a pint glass at the "World of Beer" in Cary, NC. This beer has a murky golden orange color with a white head. The aroma is of slight hops and some spice. The flavor is a nice blend of citrus and spice with some malt and hops. a medium bodied beer with moderate carbonation. A really good beer highly recommended. A little sour for what’s supposed to be a blonde. Only a hint of florals. Pours amber. Tangy finish. Bottle from Charleston beer exchange.
