Draft. Poured cloudy reddish amber color with a minimal fizzy off-white head that mostly diminished with fair lacing. Moderate raspberry wheat aroma. Light to medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium sweet raspberry flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. Soft drinkable fruit beer.

UPDATED: APR 22, 2009 The bomb!!! Ranks highly in my beer pantheon. Whenever I get down that way I pick up a couple of growlers of this stuff to complement my Blatz. Good stuff. Wish they could ship this stuff UPS. It’s not unlike PIYF! BallyLoser (136) - Redmond, Washington, USA - SEP 29, 2007
One of the better Buck beers in my opinion. Has a great scent and a smoother taste. Didn’t notice thte malty aftertaste I get with many of the buck beers. Good for a Raspberry Wheat. polomagnifico (1202) - Saginaw, Michigan, USA - SEP 1, 2007
On tap at brewery. Aroma is raspberry. Light orange gold copper hue. Bitters on the finish. Very fruity but one dimensional. wmubronco1992 (709) - Coldwater, Michigan, USA - JUL 8, 2007
Draft at the brewery in Gaylord, MI. Light copper color. Small white head, just a little lacing. Smells and tastes of raspberries (suprise?). Flavor wasn’t overpowering, just enough to let you know this was a fruity beer. Like every other raspberry beer I’ve tried there was no wow factor. However, with that being said, overall it was a very pleasant and easy drinking beer.

Sample at the Gaylord location: Pours an orange-gold color with a thin white head and spots of lacing. Aroma of raspberry and wheat, surprisingly enough. Light-bodied and crisp with an airy tart raspberry flavor, along with a touch of wheat and malt. The finish is bubbly and fruity. Not overly fruity which is a plus, but all in all pretty average. muzzlehatch (4969) - Beloit, Wisconsin, USA - AUG 17, 2006
5 oz draught sample at the Gaylord, MI location, July 2006. Whoah, a raspberry wheat at a suburban-type faux-Northwoods brewpub in July? Who would have thought it? Well let’s see what this rarity has to offer....faint haze to the red-tinged thin body with a small ring of lasting head....fresh just-ripe berries in the nose, touch of pale malts with the faintest hint of caramelized and burnt qualities....the body is pretty dry and fairly sour/tart with a bit of underripe berry sweetness, touches of pepper and orange towards the finish, rather thin and watery. OK for what it is, anyway. SpudClampDawg (1029) - Jasper, Indiana, USA - JUL 13, 2006
This was one of the better samples I tried at the brewery in Gaylord and I usually am not a big fruit beer fan. The beer pours an orangeish pink color with a nice head. Sweet raspberries and honey fill the nose. Nice balance between fruit and malts. The body is slightly fizzy, with more fresh raspberries puree really coming through. The wheat creates a creamy mouthfeel and makes this a real refreshing brew. Good stuff. SubstanceT (1092) - Saint Louis, Missouri, USA - JUN 26, 2006
On tap at the brewery in Gaylord Michigan.

Clear and slight brown thin head. Nose is lots of raspberry. Taste is lots of wheat and raspberry. Actually well balanced and easly drinkable. This beer actually does fruit beer okay. ericnixon (745) - Portland, Oregon, USA - MAR 11, 2006
On tap at the Auburn Hills, MI location. The color was a cloudy pink with a big raspberry aroma. It had a fizzy mouthfeel with a somewhat dry palate. Yup, it tasted like raspberries, but it wasn’t as refreshing as other raspberry beers I’ve had.
