UPDATED: APR 22, 2009 The bomb!!! Ranks highly in my beer pantheon. Whenever I get down that way I pick up a couple of growlers of this stuff to complement my Blatz. Good stuff. Wish they could ship this stuff UPS. It’s not unlike PIYF! Aggie80 (818) - Michigan, USA - AUG 4, 2002
A nice fruity beer, great color! This makes a great compliment certain foods, can lead to nasty flavor combinations if not careful! The filtering leaves this a lot clearer then one would expect. Little or no aftertaste, a refreshing change from other fruity types. SpudClampDawg (1029) - Jasper, Indiana, USA - JUL 13, 2006
This was one of the better samples I tried at the brewery in Gaylord and I usually am not a big fruit beer fan. The beer pours an orangeish pink color with a nice head. Sweet raspberries and honey fill the nose. Nice balance between fruit and malts. The body is slightly fizzy, with more fresh raspberries puree really coming through. The wheat creates a creamy mouthfeel and makes this a real refreshing brew. Good stuff. Andrew196 (1903) - Katy, Texas, USA - MAY 27, 2002
Interesting beer....I have never seen thic color in a beer, it was a misty pink/beige. Fruity beginning. Pleasant raspberry/malt flavor. Not very complex but quaffable. LilKem (1213) - Marietta, Ohio, USA - DEC 3, 2004
I was excited about this, as I tend to like raspberry brews. however, this one i was not impressed with. it just felt like it was missing something... really watered down, not much flavor.

Light color, slightly cloudy, nice thin head (nitro induced?). Raspberry hangs with it for a while, then a later bitter aftertaste. Slightly watery, but I like this reasonably well. (on tap, Grapevine, TX location) ericnixon (746) - Portland, Oregon, USA - MAR 11, 2006
On tap at the Auburn Hills, MI location. The color was a cloudy pink with a big raspberry aroma. It had a fizzy mouthfeel with a somewhat dry palate. Yup, it tasted like raspberries, but it wasn’t as refreshing as other raspberry beers I’ve had. Dogbrick (13036) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - OCT 11, 2006
Sample at the Gaylord location: Pours an orange-gold color with a thin white head and spots of lacing. Aroma of raspberry and wheat, surprisingly enough. Light-bodied and crisp with an airy tart raspberry flavor, along with a touch of wheat and malt. The finish is bubbly and fruity. Not overly fruity which is a plus, but all in all pretty average. wmubronco1992 (709) - Coldwater, Michigan, USA - JUL 8, 2007
Draft at the brewery in Gaylord, MI. Light copper color. Small white head, just a little lacing. Smells and tastes of raspberries (suprise?). Flavor wasn’t overpowering, just enough to let you know this was a fruity beer. Like every other raspberry beer I’ve tried there was no wow factor. However, with that being said, overall it was a very pleasant and easy drinking beer. BallyLoser (136) - Redmond, Washington, USA - SEP 29, 2007
One of the better Buck beers in my opinion. Has a great scent and a smoother taste. Didn’t notice thte malty aftertaste I get with many of the buck beers. Good for a Raspberry Wheat.
