Canned. Clear copper with a medium off-white head that has poor retention. The aroma is faint with dust, white fruits and some Belgian yeast. The taste is weak and washed out with mild fruits, minerals, light peppery spices and some bready yeast. The palate is rather thin. Finishes short and dry. Overall: meh, I make a better Saison. ads135 (5207) - Omaha, Nebraska, USA - JAN 2, 2016
A Christmas gift from Brian. A pretty decent saison as far as it goes. This one is mildly Citrus with a somewhat stale aftertaste. hockey9930 (321) - - SEP 8, 2015
Clear golden orange and thin head. Tropical fruit scents. Maybe papaya and mango, also a bit yeasty. Flavor is also fruity but has a rancid off flavor. Light and oily. UncleKorm (1337) - Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA - AUG 9, 2015
Can poured a hazy orange hue w/ large foamy slowly diminishing white head. Moderate spicy aromas. Initial flavor is light sweet w/ a light bitter finish. Tastes are light farmhouse funk, white pepper corns, rose hips, and tangerine. Light bodied.

16 oz can. Pours clear straw gold with a medium bubbly white head that goes to a thin film that leaves a little lacing.

The aroma is sweet sugary bubblegum malt and banana.
The flavor is sweet sugary doughy malt with banana and a little Belgian funk. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with smooth carbonation.
Overall, too much sweet banana.
Can - hazy dark copper - frothy, fairly thick lace - nose is candyish sweetness, honey, a bit of pepper, pear, light muskiness - watery texture - flavor is medium sweet - some pear and apple, gum - cereal graininess - light earthy honey finishes - uninspiring. Sample at the taproom. The beer pours a clear yellow-orange color with a medium white head that dissipates quickly to an outer ring. Spotty lacing on the glass. Aroma of fruit, yeast and malt. Light-bodied with a floral yeast character and flavors of sweet malt and honey plus a bit of fruit. The finish is sweet with an herbal yeast and fruit aftertaste. Decent overall. UPDATED: MAR 8, 2015 Can.
Head is initially small, fizzy/frothy, off-white, mostly diminishing.
Body is light amber.
Aroma is lightly malty (caramel, toasted grain), lightly hoppy (flowers), lightly yeasty (basement), with notes of banana, cotton candy, bubble gum, hint of pepper.
Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter.
Finish is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly to moderately bitter.
Medium body, watery/syrupy texture, lively carbonation.
A profoundly dopey, Americanized, sugary, cartoonish example. The nose is all candyish junk, there’s nothing "farmhouse" or "saison" about this, and it’s even sad for a generic Belgian-style ale. Aimed at folks who don’t actually like saison, presumably. NachlamSie (3597) - Denver, Colorado, USA - NOV 3, 2014
Pint at the brewery. Pours pretty clear light orange with a white head. Pleasant phenols in the nose, fruits, a little pepper, clove. Body is medium light with good carbonation. Really refreshing yeast notes give spiced hints and a bit of banana even. Good peppery notes come through and the finish is fairly dry. Well balanced and tasty sessionable brew. hopman303 (2) - - MAY 23, 2014 does not count
Great beer. Light and fruity. Mild ester character from the yeast, but nothing overpowering.
