I know there's only 8 reviews before me, but I'm amazed this is so low. Subtle sweetness from the malts (though I'm not necessarily getting chocolate). Great hops and crazy smooth for over 100 IBU's. Plus the awesome owner gave me a free 4 pack at their tasting room. Great beer overall.

Draft at the brewery. Pours hazy copper with a creamy off white head and lots of lacing. Tastes like grapefruit hops, resin, passion fruit, caramel, and toasted and bready malt. Light/medium body and low carbonation. Smells like grapefruit hops, resin, passion fruit, caramel malt, and toast. Gription79 (2891) - Bountiful, Utah, USA - AUG 15, 2015
Poured from a 12 ounce can. The aroma is citrusy, malty. The flavor is roasty, hoppy, citrusy, light oxidation. craftbeerdesign (2254) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - MAY 1, 2015
red IIPA w/ notes of chocolate malt, spices & caramel malts. Lighter body w/ a roasted finish. Not your go to IIPA, unique. Dogbrick (13018) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - MAR 30, 2015
Sample at the taproom. Hazy reddish-orange color with a medium off-white head that recedes steadily. Stringy lacing on the glass. Aroma of fruit, hops and malt. Medium to full body with flavors of piney hops, fruit and biscuit malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a resiny hops aftertaste. Decent overall. The aroma is sweet caramel malts, fruit, a little cola, with some perfumey piney hops.
The flavor is sweet caramel malts and fruit with a big piney resiny bitterness. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with smooth carbonation and a bit watery.
Overall, a nice DIPA, but a little on the sweet side.
Can from Hazel’s beverage world. Dark copper color, beige head. Bitter taste with grapefruit, hops, caramel, resin and a bit of mango. The body is a bit unbalanced. The palate is definitely on the sticky side. Bitter finish with hops, grapefruit and resin. Decent double IPA. That1Guy (2236) - Colorado, USA - MAR 8, 2014
Picked up a can of this. Hazy ruby color with a off white head. Oxidation and diacetyl. Hops are dead. Alcohol isn’t apparent, but so what? A mess. Danyel (1606) - Colorado, USA - JAN 1, 2014
Can. Pours brown with lots of red hues and off-white head. Smells very piney. Has a bitter backbone, lots of earthiness, bitter finish, cereal...a bit thin for the style. Okay. JaffaHawk23 (76) - Broomfield(via Iowa City), Colorado, USA - SEP 6, 2013
Tasty brew from a place that is a 10 minute walk from my house. Plenty of hops and gets bonus for location.
