On tap @ Strong Ale 2013. Mahogany pour with a khaki head. Big caramel, nutmeg, all spice, and cinnamon. A touch of clove, some raisin, cherry, and chocolate. Really nice sweetness. Lots of spice balances it out. All spice, cinnamon, and nutmeg are prominent. Raisin, cherry, chocolate, and caramel. Bread and cake maltiness. Pretty nice. Now this has quite an aroma. Sweet and sprucy, this strongly reminds me of the Alaskan Winter Ale in the spruce flavors throughout. Lots going on and quite thick, but nice in a 8 oz. size.
