Pours a clear classic golden with nearly no head. Sweet champagne and apple aromas. Smooth, wet mouthfeel. Perfume flavor of sweetness and pilsner bitterness. dcschiller (2211) - Scottsdale, Arizona, USA - JUL 31, 2013

Had this at Big Bob’s. I am in Vegas and needed to get drunk fast so I went with the 9% alcohol beer. Not terrible but not smooth either which kind of described my drunken state. kp (10880) - Woodstock, Georgia, USA - DEC 25, 2011

Sample on Day 1 of the Aces & Ales Strong Beer Festival on 08/12/2011. The beer is a hazy yellow color with a medium white head that evaporates steadily. Stringy lacing on the glass. Aroma of spices, citrus and yeast. Medium body with a sweetly spiced character with notes of cloves and coriander. Sweet malt base as well, plus some citrus. The finish is fruity at first and leaves a spicy yeast aftertaste. Above average overall.

UPDATED: SEP 1, 2017 A cloudy yellow, with a lot of spice from the first sip. I really really liked thgis. The flavor is light in how it affects the stomach, but not anywhere else. Some slight fruitiness (maybe grapefruit), but tons of spice. Could easily get drunk on this (and wouldn’t be surprised after two of these). This is like a spicier Leffe Blonde. If I had my way this would be a repeat beer for sure!
