Clear and golden with a creamy-white head and intricate lace. Nice palate -- creamy and smooth. Light caramel sweetness in the malts. Flowery hops with a decent bitterness level. Pretty good balance. Not bad. jb (3253) - Rochester, New York, USA - MAR 29, 2013
On tap at the brewpub. Malty sweet nose. Palate is grainy but with some hippiness. This is so so. hellbilly (3249) - scottsdale über alles, Arizona, USA - JUL 6, 2009
pale golden pour with a webby white head.
it smells of citrus, citrus pith, earthy hops, non resinous pine, caramel and malt.
the flavor is the same... with lots of flowers, a dry hoppy finish and a mild bitterness.
medium bodied, dry and crisp.

Orange-amber with a nice foamy white head... Aroma is citrusy and sweet... Flavor is fairly dry, with a nice initial sweetness and finishes with a nice piney hops bitterness... Pretty good pale Palidor19 (3188) - Brandon, Florida, USA - AUG 20, 2013
A great pale ale with a even amount of hops and malt. It hoppy and malt equally.

Pours a pale yellow with a nice head. The aroma is very much on the hop side. A bit of malt as well but mostly hops. The flavor is also very hoppy. Crisp and clean, the finish is quite dry. mjg74 (3106) - La Mesa, California, USA - APR 20, 2008
Tap at cafe. Light golden in color. Bitter piney aroma. Fairly bitter compared to most APAs. Some citric bitterness. Storm (2684) - Amager, DENMARK - OCT 10, 2005
On draught. Tasted during trip to California. Clear golden colour with a fast disappearing head. Little aroma of fruit and spice. Very great taste of malt and a good blend of hops. Also a great fresh aftertaste. Bockyhorsey (2628) - Mesa, Arizona, USA - MAY 5, 2009
Sample at brew pub. Decent fruity aroma on the nose. Gold body with white head. Lemony flavor with a mild bittering. Smooth and suppose would be a crowd favorite on those haot summer days in the desert.
