Pours a pale yellow with a nice head. The aroma is very much on the hop side. A bit of malt as well but mostly hops. The flavor is also very hoppy. Crisp and clean, the finish is quite dry. JohnnyJ (5570) - San Diego, California, USA - AUG 2, 2011
Draft at the brewpub. Clear golden/light amber pour, with a small white head. Piney hops, light grapefruit, bitter, and sweetness. A solid pale ale. decaturstevo (6244) - decatur, Tennessee, USA - MAR 11, 2009
Golden pour with foamy thin head and lace. Spicy almost pepper and earthiness. Medium malt on the flavor with a nice clinging bitter. Creamy carbonation but a tad thin. mcdav2154 (449) - GERMANY - APR 1, 2010
On tap at the brewery. Aroma was light and flowery. The look was very clear and straw colored with a small white head. Taste was a refreshing hop taste with notes of pine and earth. It left a good bitterness on the palate. Average Pale Ale and a good beer. UncleKorm (1321) - Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA - SEP 29, 2013
Bomber bottle poured clear gold hue with thin white head and excellent lacing. Mild floral aromas. Initial flavor light sweet w/ bold bitter finish. Tastes are watermelon rind, lemon, and rye. Medium bodied, watery texture, and dry finish.

Growler. Light amber color, thick white head that diminishes to a thin layer. Good lacing. Aromas of fruity hops and earthy malts. Taste seems mostly malty to me, some fruitiness and just a hint of bittnerness. Slight bitterness lingers but finish is nothing to remember. Fairly light and should be easy to finish the growler. mjg74 (3116) - La Mesa, California, USA - APR 20, 2008
Tap at cafe. Light golden in color. Bitter piney aroma. Fairly bitter compared to most APAs. Some citric bitterness. DuffMan (10451) - the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, CANADA - MAY 9, 2013
On tap at the brewpub, Vegas. I guess this beer is the standing tribute to the original brewery Holy Cow, that became Big Dogs of today. Medium golden body, thin white head. Aroma is very muted, piney, but just really low. Pale biscuit malts, light piney hops, moderately bitter finish. Nothing wrong with this, it just seemed really reserved. A great pale ale with a even amount of hops and malt. It hoppy and malt equally.

Sampled on draft this beer poured a pale yellow-gold color with a large foamy white head that left great lacing. The aroma was a bit sour yet with an underlying sweetness and with a vague fruity hop presence. The flavor was tangy and bitter lemon and grapefruit and with a sweetish bready undertone. Medium length finish of lemon, grapefruit and bread. Medium body. Solid.
