Copper creamy pour with white head and lace. Resiny and citrusy aroma. Rich semi sweet malt with a very nice hard first bitter. Smooth drinker with easy carbonation. A well balanced beer that was pretty special. Maybe I rated beers higher from here I go back and pint this one. beerguy101 (5360) - Newark, California, USA - MAR 8, 2009
Tasted on tap at the Bistro Double IPA Festival on 2/7/2009. This Imperial IPA pours a light gold color from the tap. Medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is herbal and citrus. A medium bodied Imperial IPA. The malts are fruity and sweet. The hops are herbal and citrusy. Medium bitterness. It does have that wet/harvest hop herbal taste as well. Nice carbonation. Mouthfeel
Is full. Finish is clean and crisp. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

Clear yellow in color with nice white head. Fruity hops aroma. Nice hoppy flavor. Surprisingly decent. A hint metallic - but nothing horrible.
Draught in pint glass at brewery. Surprisingly nice. Aroma was red grapefruit and a little pine. Flavour was more grapefruit and pleasing bitterness.
