It was lighter in the vanilla that expected, but the stout itself was solid. Stand alone you could have a couple. Tap radagast83 (8072) - Alexandria, Virginia, USA - MAY 13, 2014
"2 oz" pour at SAVOR’s Friday night session. Poured a near black color with a nice tan head. Aroma was cocoa, bitter chocolate, light vanilla bean character. Flavor was sweet chocolates, vanilla notes. Wonderful chocolate and vanilla notes come through on this one. dwyerpg (6187) - Las Vegas, Nevada, USA - MAR 27, 2014
This has just a bit overwhelming in the vanilla for me. The aroma is a pretty even mix of vanilla and chocolate but the body was a bit vanilla heavy for me. kathouse (1893) - LAS VEGAS, Nevada, USA - MAR 8, 2014
On tap at Shakespeare’s Grille. Pours opaque with a frothy tan head. Chocolate is very apparent in both taste and aroma. Had a pretty good body, but the vanilla wasn’t as noticeable to me. No dryness from black or roasted malts. An average stout worth a try.
