On tap at the brewery. The look is clear and amber with a minimal white head. Aroma was very weak and couldn’t pick out much more than some malty sweetness. Taste was ok but a little thin. Caught some notes of caramel and a light hop taste but mostly sweet. Not that great and won’t drink again. anders37 (26699) - Malmö, SWEDEN - JAN 20, 2010
Growler. Pours a reddish color with a very small and fast disappearing off-white head. Has a fruity malty caramel aroma. Sweetish malty caramel flavor with some spicy hints. Has a Sweetish malty caramel finish. BMan1113VR (7931) - Los Angeles, California, USA - JAN 10, 2010
On tap at the brewery. Clear amber body with a minimal white head. Hard to get much of aroma in this smokey room, but there is some caramel notes. Taste is toasted grain, bread, nutshells and an odd flavor (olive tapenade). Thin and dry with medium carbonation. hellbilly (3248) - scottsdale über alles, Arizona, USA - JUL 6, 2009
dark copper brown pour with a thin off white head.
it smells a bit sweet... toffee, malt and strawberries.
the palate is a bit sugary but surprisingly good... caramel malty, toffee, biscuit, grassy, earthy hops and a dry alcoholic finish... the abv% is not unpleasant, it is just noticeable and thinning. .
the medium body is crisp and soft due to ample carbonation. 5/3/7/3/12/3.0 sebletitje (10094) - Enghien, BELGIUM - MAY 17, 2009

Sample at brew pub. Aroma was somewhat well just stale something couldn’t get a good wiff of anything. Amber body with decent head. Bland flavor with some mild toffee in the mix. Odd brew. mjg74 (3116) - La Mesa, California, USA - APR 20, 2008
Tap at cafe. Dark amber in color. Bready malt character. Only a little bit of bitterness. Very average. Dogbrick (13144) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - APR 20, 2008
Sample at the Rancho Dr brewpub. This beer is a dark reddish-amber color with a medium thin light beige head that dissipates steadily. Thin sheets of lace slide down the glass quickly. Mild caramel malt aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture, and flavors of bready malt, caramel and light hops and nuts in the background. The finish is sweet with malt lingering for a bit. Barely average overall. jcwattsrugger (12434) - Florida and, New Jersey, USA - JAN 10, 2008
