dark copper brown pour with a thin off white head.
it smells a bit sweet... toffee, malt and strawberries.
the palate is a bit sugary but surprisingly good... caramel malty, toffee, biscuit, grassy, earthy hops and a dry alcoholic finish... the abv% is not unpleasant, it is just noticeable and thinning. .
the medium body is crisp and soft due to ample carbonation. 5/3/7/3/12/3.0 unclemike (3170) - Junction City Kansas, Kansas, USA - SEP 16, 2011
Nice deep amber color with a soft notes (slight hints of mixed fruit). Sweet in taste with a nice kick of liquor towards the end, but a little too light/watery on the palate.

Clear light maroon pour. Smell is sweet sticky malt with a dull sweetness in the flavor. Mild bitterness with almost a toasty nuttiness to it as well. This was decent. Bockyhorsey (2627) - Mesa, Arizona, USA - MAY 5, 2009
Sample at brew pub. Aroma was somewhat well just stale something couldn’t get a good wiff of anything. Amber body with decent head. Bland flavor with some mild toffee in the mix. Odd brew. Walt (2449) - Austin, Texas, USA - JUN 28, 2006

On tap at the Draft House. Served a dark amber color with a small head and some lacing. Mild aroma of caramel sweetness, fresh grain and a hint of citrus. Flavor of some caramel sweetness, fresh grain with a mild bitterness and a clean finish. Fairly light body, crisp and clean. Easy drinker, good for a few. Fits well with watching sports. dirtymike (2016) - Manchester, New Hampshire, USA - APR 16, 2005
