Clear copper color, tan head. Sweet, malty scent. Sweet, malty, fruity taste. Medium mouthfeel, medium bitterness.
Pours a deep brown color with a caramel, roasted malt aroma. Taste is bitter, hint of toffee, with a smooth finish. A good beer, more like a brown ale than an Irish ale. Overall, a complex tasting beer that was easy drinking. MMM...Beer (385) - Las Vegas, Nevada, USA - JUN 24, 2004
Nice deep amber color with a soft notes (slight hints of mixed fruit). Sweet in taste with a nice kick of liquor towards the end, but a little too light/watery on the palate.

Clear light maroon pour. Smell is sweet sticky malt with a dull sweetness in the flavor. Mild bitterness with almost a toasty nuttiness to it as well. This was decent. mjg74 (3093) - La Mesa, California, USA - APR 20, 2008

On tap at the brewery. Clear amber body with a minimal white head. Hard to get much of aroma in this smokey room, but there is some caramel notes. Taste is toasted grain, bread, nutshells and an odd flavor (olive tapenade). Thin and dry with medium carbonation.
