Sample at the Rancho Dr brewpub. This beer is a dark reddish-amber color with a medium thin light beige head that dissipates steadily. Thin sheets of lace slide down the glass quickly. kathouse (1940) - LAS VEGAS, Nevada, USA - JUL 18, 2011
it smells a bit sweet... toffee, malt and strawberries.
the palate is a bit sugary but surprisingly good... caramel malty, toffee, biscuit, grassy, earthy hops and a dry alcoholic finish... the abv% is not unpleasant, it is just noticeable and thinning. .
the medium body is crisp and soft due to ample carbonation. 5/3/7/3/12/3.0

Clear copper color, tan head. Sweet, malty scent. Sweet, malty, fruity taste. Medium mouthfeel, medium bitterness.
Pours a deep brown color with a caramel, roasted malt aroma. Taste is bitter, hint of toffee, with a smooth finish. A good beer, more like a brown ale than an Irish ale. Overall, a complex tasting beer that was easy drinking.
