Surprised this beer has gone on such a long Ratebeer hiatus. I feel like I see it around occasionally. Draft pour pint at the Old blue lightning location in Woodinville. Golden cloudy pour with a thin film head. Sweet aroma. Malty side for an IPA. Bitter throughout. Weird really. Less appealing IPA for me.

From growler. Gorgeous hazy brown, good foam. Solid nw IPA, bittering sweet hops. Very tasty

Pawola22 (3262) - Woodridge, Illinois, USA - DEC 7, 2012
On tap at the brewpub. Pours a mostly clear, deeper gold colored body with a thin, frothy, off-white head that dissipates slowly and leaves a soapy lacing. Aroma is lighter floral citruses with some pine spice and a lightly sweetened, somewhat biscuity caramel malt backing. Flavor is similar. A smooth, lightly sweetened caramel up front with some biscuit and grains before a good amount of citrusy florals come in. More spicy pines towards the end with a touch of toast as this finishes dry, citrusy, and fairly bitter with a touch of caramel. Lengthy aftertaste following a medium body and a moderate carbonation. Overall, a decent IPA. Nothing special, but tasty enough. Not bad.

Amber in color clear with a thin head. Nice hops and malt aroma. The malt flavor was rich and light cereal. Hops where bitter and tasty and there was a great dry finish.

on tap at the brewery. A nice hoppy ipa. A nice example of a west coast hoppy brew. Drinkable. No off flavors and fresh!

IndianaRed (4609) - Boise, Idaho, USA - JAN 19, 2011
On Tap at the brewpub. Light golden orange with a big full lasting off-white head. Nice citrus and a little pine hop aroma. Flavor had decent fresh hops and a modest bitterness. A good west coast IPA though not very aggressive.

Ibrew2or3 (8614) - Tempe, Arizona, USA - APR 30, 2010
On tap at the brewery/brewpub. Pours pure clear copper with of white head. The aroma is mostly citrus to spicy hops with some grassiness in the background. The taste is full up hops with a pleasing level of malt sweetness in a supporting role. The hops are pretty darn crisp running from spiciness to tangelo to grapefruit citrus to sweeter and juicier citrus orange like hop flavor. To midway the mild malty sweetness fades as does the sweeter hop flavor leaving a modest bitter hop bite lingering into the after taste.

highibus (821) - Vail, Arizona, USA - SEP 3, 2009
Pours light copper with thin head. No real hop aroma. Some hops on the flavor but an intresting Belgian yeast flavor. Not a hoot ipa and no way is it the 80 ibus it says. But interesting.

AmEricanbrew (6878) - Same Trailer, Different Park, Louisiana, USA - AUG 17, 2009
Clear copper with a white head. Mild floral and pine hop aromas. Medium body. Nice fruity floral and pine hop flavors on a caramel malt base. No off flavors, pretty good. Draft @ the biker bar in Edmonds.
