On tap at Big E, pours a deep dark brown with a ask all creamy tan head. Aroma is very light, with notes of caramel and bready malt. Flavour matches accordingly, being quite dry for a scotch ale, with caramel bready malt dominating. Not too sweet, but also not bitter at all. Low complexity. Not bad, but pretty ordinary for the style. bhensonb (15093) - Woodland, California, USA - JAN 17, 2015
Tap at Anthony’s in Lynwood, WA. Pours dark brown with a tan head. Light smoke aroma. Med+ body Flavir is malty and lightly smoky. Nice drink on a rainy evening. andrewje41 (3763) - Kenmore, Washington, USA - OCT 24, 2014
Draft pour at blazin onion. Pours the darkest of browns with a flat, absent aroma. Quick fading head. Really light tasting beer. Subtle malt flavors and some caramel. Really wet flavor. This beer tastes good overall, but it’s a really light flavor. Overall, I liked this beer. maxwelldeux (4374) - Snohomish, Washington, USA - MAR 8, 2014
Draught in a flight at the brewpub. Pours a fairly brown color. Nose is very malt forward, with a fair amount of caramel in there. Taste was a little bit sweet, with some earthiness to it. luttonm (6169) - Seattle, Washington, USA - JAN 23, 2014
Draft at Brewpub. Now this is a good beer. Dark, deep brown. Creamy head. Sweet note, good herby depth. Some bubblegum, and a hit of leather and smoky meat. Nice

Great beer, malty, sweet, and smooth. 16oz sampling from tap. Malty smell, good head, very dark. Almost perfect sweetness. IndianaRed (4545) - Boise, Idaho, USA - JAN 19, 2011
On Tap at the brewpub. Deep clear dark brown with redish tints. Thin wispy light tan head. Soft roasted aroma and fairly sweet roasty earthy flavors. A bit thin and weak for a Scotch but nice overall. softly carbonated.

Nice and malty scotch style ale, just comes off a wee bit thin around the edges. AmEricanbrew (6878) - Same Trailer, Different Park, Louisiana, USA - DEC 9, 2010
Clear brown color/ fleeting head. Mild roasty malt, caramel aromas. medium bodied. Toasted, glazed toffee, mild smoke, roasty malt flavors. Ibrew2or3 (8607) - Tempe, Arizona, USA - APR 30, 2010
On tap at the brewery/brewpub. Pours clear mahogany with light tan head. The aroma has notes of dark fruitiness and maybe light earthiness. The taste starts a touch biscuity or maybe Melanoidin followed by some caramel malt notes, figs, prunes and some cherries. Nice soft body folding in the sweetness. This one has grown on me the more I drink with a bit of caramel candy showing up from time to time.
