2011 Can - Pours thin and clear neon yellow with a huge fluffy white head...aroma is corny with lightly toasted grain, flavour is corny and malty with a lot more wheat than I expected...finish is sweet and lightly skunky...wasn’t really expecting much and it didn’t disappoint, but the marketing campaign was tolerable...apparently even Walgreens has more integrity that the Bruery...
Can. Clear straw yellow. Smells of corn and adjuncts. No pee or skunk, which is nice, but tastes more like beer flavored water than beer. So watery it’s laughable. JPDIPSO (6223) - Wauwatosa, USA - OCT 28, 2016
Pale yellow color with a tall, fluffy white head. Initial scent of rotting vegetables has subsided to just creamed corn and perhaps a touch of hops. Light creamed corn in a can. Again there are hints of malt and hops, but you have to look for them. A touch metallic in the finish does not help this one. 4/11

Can from Happy Valley Supermarket, Portland. Pale yellow with a medium head. Nose is malty, caramel and sweet. Taste is malty, sweet and not very good really. miyauchi38 (1096) - chicago, Illinois, USA - FEB 9, 2016

It’s cheap, and that’s the best I can say about it. Think poorly made beer and you’ll have a pretty good idea what waits for you in the can. Save the 3 bucks for a sixpack and buy a single of a good beer instead.

For crappy cheap beer this one is ok taste like a watered down pbr. Grassy flavor with water really no grain. Crystal clear golden with little aroma. derBriMeister (1) - Florida, USA - APR 10, 2015 does not count
one of the better cheap beers. I’ll drink it. and considering my preference forl high end beers that’s saying something johnnnniee (4312) - Bedford, New Hampshire, USA - JAN 27, 2015
Can from Walgreens at 3.33 per six pack.
Crystal clear light golden color with a bubbly frothy white head and moderate sticky lace. Grainy cereal aromas with a touch of pomme fruitiness. Crisp grainy maltiness with a touch of green apple and lots of carbonic bite. Medium body with a spirited level of carbonation. Well the price is right, and it doesn’t suck. I wouldn’t go out of my way to pick this up, but its a decent drinker. I might see if I can shotgun one of the remaining 5 cans. tapthis (272) - Baytown, Texas, USA - JAN 9, 2015
Typical lager yellow (pale and clear) with an OK head. Decent carbonation. No lacing. Tasted of toast, roasty, and bread. Rupertnick (1) - West Richland, Washington, USA - DEC 13, 2014 does not count
This is comparable to old style Schaefer Beer back in the 60’s. It is very sweet and has an aftertaste just like Genesee Ale. If you drank any knick, back in the day, you would NEVER say the word corn in relation to this beer. It has no flavor of a true corn beer. Ever smell the tap beer back in 60’s or 70’s? Then you know this is a beer on its’ own that isn’t great but is passable for 3 bucks.
