Sampler @ Ram brewery: Sweet citrus hop aroma. Pale brown in color. Grapefruity hoppy taste, but balanced okay. A little dry on the palate.

On tap at the Ram in Seattle. Copper w/ small head. Mostly just roasted malt. No hop presence. More like a disappointing amber ale.

Light, pale with a faint aroma and flavor. Straw and grass notes with just a touch of hops.

Decent for a craft pale ale. Very yellowish to gold in color with a distinct smell which I did not enjoy. Would not get again. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft. From notes. This beer is pretty weak and watery. Some light hops throughout with a weak malt backbone. Meh.

On tap @ Ram - Kent. Clear orange pour with white foam. Mostly kind of earthy and dirty hop profile. There’s some citrus, caramel, and a bit of grass. Maybe some pine. Lots of bread and caramel malt sweetness on this. Sort of an unpleasant bitterness, too. Bitter caramel water.

Had on tap at a Ram in Indianapolis, IN awhile back. Buttery in flavor and mouthfeel... maybe some sort of diacetyl problem.

Vir4030 (603) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUN 25, 2010
Light orange color with almost no head. Very little aroma, and bitter like an IPA. Not sure what to make of this beer. Spicy, too.

BückDich (5464) - McCall, Idaho, USA - JUN 20, 2007
Draft @ Boise Ram: "Old 71 Pale Ale": Hazy yellow, light head and decent lacing. Nose of moldy, funky stale road tie like hops and an odd yeast, stale wheat and cleanser notes. Dry and corny, some funky bread notes. Little hops in the flavor. Finishes clinging and drawn out with that stale wheat and corn note. Not good.

Tasted on tap at the Fort Collins Horserooth location. Light pale, slightly hazy appearance. Slight hoppy aroma. For a pale ale, the malty character was pretty big. Not all that hoppy. Mediocre pale ale.
