On tap at Big Horn U District, pours a cloudy dull orange with a small white head. Nose is quite spicy, with lots of the rye upfront, and herbal hops further back. Flavour is along the same lines - lots of rye and herbal, citrus hops. It works fine, but it’s a bit harsh and lacking cohesion. Still, pretty decent. brokensail (16449) - Dublin, California, USA - AUG 28, 2015
On tap @ Ram - Kent. Clear orange pour with white foam. Mostly kind of earthy and dirty hop profile. There’s some citrus, caramel, and a bit of grass. Maybe some pine. Lots of bread and caramel malt sweetness on this. Sort of an unpleasant bitterness, too. Bitter caramel water. rolfc81 (145) - - APR 19, 2015
Had after trip to Ikea in Schaumburg. Pretty good but had better pale ales........... Ferris (15275) - Burnaby, British Columbia, CANADA - JAN 21, 2015
Draft - Earthy hops and biscuity pale malts. Cloudy gold with a decent white head. Earthy bitterness and pale malts with a creamy mouthfeel. Very much English style. BVery (10510) - Plymouth, Minnesota, USA - NOV 11, 2014
Tap at the Schaumburg IL location. Hazy light orange pour with a small clingy white head. Spicy rye and mild citrus hop. Easy drinking and pretty good overall.

understated aroma, but a super nice flavor. spicy hops and just enough malt to bring about a nice balanced session beer. i’d have this again."

A very lightweight pale (or not so pale), pours out a murky copper color, with nice creamy head. Most points for appearance, all else is just mediocre. Easy drinker and refreshing. Nsanders (1144) - St Paul, Minnesota, USA - APR 30, 2014
Tap at Ram. Deep amber with a thin white head and spotty lacing. Aromas of light citrus, hay, rye and alcohol. Taste has a grainy sweetness with a very mild citrus bitterness. Body is medium with oily feel. nuplastikk (6277) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - APR 13, 2014
Sampler at Schaumburg. The most interesting Ram beer I’ve had so far, which isn’t saying much. Oliy hemp seed burnt tones. I pretty much get toasted oily hemp all the way. An oddity. Somewhere between an India Brown Ale and an APA. Another loser. maxwelldeux (4374) - Snohomish, Washington, USA - FEB 9, 2014
Draught in a flight at the pub. Pours a slightly hazy amber color. Nose has a little bit of resin in there with some spiciness from the rye. Taste has a lot of rye grains in there as well, with a slightly sweet finish. OK, but nothing special to me.
