Reddish pour, aroma of butter and hop extract. Flavor is cardboard, some caramel, butter and weird sweetness. Lots of carb, i keep burping. 5 bucks for a growler, but I don’t even want to finish it.

drowland (8676) - Georgia, USA - AUG 14, 2009
Had on tap at a Ram in Indianapolis, IN awhile back. Buttery in flavor and mouthfeel... maybe some sort of diacetyl problem.

msante79 (2225) - Mount Prospect, Illinois, USA - AUG 9, 2009
On tap at Big Horn/C.B Potts in Englewood, CO. Pours hazy yellow-orange with white head. Aroma is light hops and citrus with some caramel malt. Flavor is light again with hops but does have some citrus and caramel malt notes. Decent mouthfeel and nice carbonation. Sort of on the light side for an APA but not offensive in any way.

From the Jug at the GABF, Colorado Convention Center 12/10/2007 Pale and hoppy aroma. Small white head. Golden coloured and malty with some bitterness and dryness in a crisp finish.

draft at the Fishers, IN brewpub - Pours clear amber-orange with aromas of caramel and citrus. The flavor is pretty well balanced with the caramel malt and citrus accented hops both contributing nicely. It’s medium bodied with light hops in the finish.

bitbucket (2165) - Kirkland, Washington, USA - MAY 24, 2009
On tap at Puyallup. Pours hazy gold with a lacy white head. Grapefruit and earth aroma, citrus and toffee taste with a crisp earthy finish. A nice, sessionalbe APA.

Oscbert (1302) - Lincoln, California, USA - MAY 12, 2009
~Semi cloudy gold with white head. ~Citrus berry hop scent. ~Light grapefruity flavor. ~Light to medium feel slightly citrus bitter finish. ~Seems like a weaker version of an IPA. Enjoyable, but doesn’t seem like there was much thought put into it.

kassner (1659) - Wexford, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 28, 2009
Nice lacing, golden color, clean as expected, hops are just a little more on the spicy side.

3.2
beerchugger (716) - North Canton, Ohio, USA - APR 12, 2009
Poured a Copper color woth minimal head. The aroma was lacking much character, there were some hoppy notes. The hops were a little noticeable, but not as flowery as an APA should be. Overall, it’s not bad, but not great either.

JPDIPSO (6223) - Wauwatosa, USA - JAN 31, 2009
Light copper color with a small off-white head. Aromas of dusty grain, caramel and some citric hops. Thin malty flavors, with grain, toasted wheat bread and a background of pithy grapefruit. Middle continues with the nearly woody grapefruit. Dry and uneventful in the linger. Lacks depth.
