COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed as a medium India Pale Ale, this full-flavored moderately hopped beer has the strongest hop character of our ales. Made for hopheads and new beer aficionados. The grist composition is 94% Pale malt, with the remaining grain bill consisting of carastan malts. The finishing Mt. Hood hop addition in the whirlpool gives this beer a good hop character without becoming excessively bitter. The beer is fined instead of filtered so the hop character is not stripped away.

Brassy gold appearance with a taste more reminiscent of an ESB than an IPA--which I just noticed is oddly explained in the above commercial description. In any case, not an IPA or an ESB that distinguishes itself--rather bland with a metallic taste to it.

Pours a deep amber with a lite head and very little aroma. Some diacetyl, crystal malts and oxidized hops but not much aroma. A very mild IPA with a very lite bitterness and hop flavor. My fiancee called it a "Chugger".

This draft brew from the brewery poured a very small sized head of foamy finely sized clear colored bubbles that were and left behind a transparent uncarbonated orange colored body and a oily lacing. The mild aroma was hoppy. The mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish. The strong flavor contained notes of hops. A decent one that I would consider buying again.

This bottled brew poured a small head of off-white colored fine to large sized mostly lasting bubbles that left behind a very good lace. The body was not noted. THe aroma was more like an ESB than an IPA, not hoppy enough. It had the flavor and mouth feel of a Pale Ale with a malt hop somewhat bitter finish.

UPDATED: MAR 5, 2016 Had this a several Ram restaurants. Its a fine IPA. Hoppy enough to please the hop-heads but safe enough for folks just getting in to beer with the sampler tray. Serving: Tap

On tap at Humperdinks. Pours a clear yellow with minimal head. The aroma is pine needles and hay. The flavor is unpleasantly bitter from front to finish, with little balance. The palate is medium and uneventful, with a long bitter aftertaste. Overall, this is a simple and underwhelming IPA.

Draught. Body is light amber. Aroma is moderately hoppy (grapefruit), lightly yeasty (dough). Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, moderately acidic, moderately bitter. Light to medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Id personally put this in the APA category, but who cares?

Tap @ Brewpub with Nuffield. Rating from 2004 notes. Light brown (dark golden). Malty base but lacks any real hook or reason to keep drinking.
