On tap @ C.I. Shenanigans in Spokane. Medium gold, lacy white head. Nice light fruity hops and medium bitterness, clean grains. I was surprised to find that this beer gets clobbered in the ratings. I thought it was a nice, particularly for a style that is often so dull.

b3shine (8870) - Indiana, USA - JAN 13, 2017
Draft to taster at the Fishers brewpub. This is listed as "Indy Blonde" on the menu, and is 4.5% abv. Looks solid; a transparent gold with white lacing. Smells and tastes of mild hops alongside a mildly semi-sweet backbone. Mouthfeel is medium light-bodied and finished crisp and clean like a lager. A solid example of the style.

Cloudy yellow beer. It's lightly biting and citric-sweet. This is thirst-quenching, almost soda-like. Average.

Had as Humperdinks Texas Blonde.. On Draft in Dallas .. . light and refreshing and it has the taste to back it up .. . light grains and hay, very tasty .. . a great summer brew, i quite enjoyed it .. . Would Willie’s fence-mending eggs bear fruit? Or would his olive branch be torn apart by woodpeckers of mistrust?

yngwie (17049) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - JUN 29, 2013
On tap at Ram, Tacoma. A clear one, more or less, topped by a small, white head. Pale golden in color. Some grains in the aroma, but it’s mostly fruity. Peaches and canned pears spring to mind. Pretty similar flavor, with a nice drying bitterness. Medium body, quite dry, with pleasant carbonation. Certainly not a world class beer, but it’s tasteful and thirst quenching. 130629

Drjohnrock (805) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JUL 7, 2017
From draft flight at Ram Columbus, under the name "Short North Blonde" and 4.5 ABV. Medium yellow color, pale lager-like nose but a little further up the evolutionary scale, sweet grainy flavor. OK hot weather drink.

beervana (781) - Libertyville, Illinois, USA - OCT 31, 2005
On tap at Ram brew pub. Clear golden yellow hued having barely discernable head with barely discernable lacing. No discernable aroma. No discernable carbonation. Light bodied that starts with soft sweet malt flavor with hints of lemony citrous flavor and finishes dry with light bitterness. An acceptable drinkable beer that goes well with baby back BBQ ribs.

Gr0ve (2177) - Oslo, NORWAY - JUN 19, 2006
Draught at the brewpub. Clear and really light golden colour. Perhaps a little darker than their pilsener. Subdued hop aroma. Malty sweet aromas. Medium-bodied and lightly sweet on the palate. Finishes a bit dry. Some bitterness in the finish. Low in carbonation.

A decent blonde. Very approachable nice nose and taste, a bit bland but a nice blend of malts and grains with a touch of hops. A good beer from time to time, but not something I would grab a growler of to go...
