From draft flight at Ram Columbus, under the name "Short North Blonde" and 4.5 ABV. Medium yellow color, pale lager-like nose but a little further up the evolutionary scale, sweet grainy flavor. OK hot weather drink. b3shine (9281) - Indiana, USA - JAN 13, 2017
Draft to taster at the Fishers brewpub. This is listed as "Indy Blonde" on the menu, and is 4.5% abv. Looks solid; a transparent gold with white lacing. Smells and tastes of mild hops alongside a mildly semi-sweet backbone. Mouthfeel is medium light-bodied and finished crisp and clean like a lager. A solid example of the style. Draft at source. Nose is mostly grainy malt with not much else. Pour is bright clear yellow with small white head that laces well. Taste is pretty bland with just a touch of bitterness. Pretty boring. ben4321 (6841) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - OCT 26, 2015
Sampled at Ram-Rosemont, 10/26/15. As Chicago Blonde. Clear gold color with no head. Corn and adjunct type aroma / flavor with some grains as well. Light body. What you’d expect. vipinvelp (4580) - Velp, NETHERLANDS - OCT 7, 2015
@ RAM Chicago. Pale yellow, small white foam ring. Malty aroma and taste, quite fresh actually. (Chicago 201510)

On tap at Big Horn U District, pours a clear dull blonde with a small with head. Nose brings out straw and stale bready malt. Flavour brings out cereal malt, some straw and a light sweetness. There’s nothing wrong with this. Clean and drinkable, just unexciting. WABeerFiend (426) - - JAN 20, 2015
Draft at the Puyallup, WA location.
A: Flower and graham cracker.
A: See through yellow. Very bubbly.
T: Flower and graham cracker dominate.
O: This was a very, very simple beer even for a blonde. I’m glad that the food overpowered this because there wasn’t much flavor anyway. BVery (11461) - Plymouth, Minnesota, USA - NOV 11, 2014
Tap at the Schaumburg IL location. For a simple accessible blonde for the masses at a chain brewpub, this does not suck like many do. Clear pale gold pour with no head. Fairly sweet grain aroma and taste. Crisp palate.
