Bottle poured a dark amber with an a small dissapating amber head. Aromas of sweet malt, carmel and a hint of molasses. Palate was medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of carmel, sweet malt and some earthiness with a smooth lingering sweet finish. A very malty beer with no noticable hops. SledgeJr (3577) - Omaha, Nebraska, USA - APR 25, 2006
In the bottle. Thanks bditty187! A bit lighter red thana woman’s bad hair coloring job. Off-white head, but the head retention is so poor that I’m not sure of it. Has a slight caramel aroma. Butt slight. Very sweet beer. Candy sweet in fact. Makes you acutely aware of the lack of hops. I get a bit of an odd vegetable flavor to this beer. The texture is very flat. dp (608) - uniontown, Ohio, USA - MAR 23, 2006
not as strong as i hoped, great taste and look, caramel taste that was a bit thin, good session beer oldrtybastrd (5002) - Fort Walton Beach, Florida, USA - DEC 24, 2005

On tap at Ram brew pub. Clear brown hued having small white diminishing head with spare lacing. No discernable aroma. No discernable carbonation. Light-to-medium bodied that starts with creamy slight sweet roasted malt flavor and finishes with slight bitter dry note. An acceptable drinkable beer. On Tap at The ram / Boise
Clear deep amber with a small off-white head and a few wisps of lacing. Woody malty aroma and similar flavors. Fairly sweet and slightly bitter but not from hops. More of a woody grassy note and moderate carbonation.

Amber color with a creamy head. Sweet floral aroma. First sip was blend and without much merit. Finished disappointing, but I had to try it for the name. This beer would be for those who don’t "like" beer. pinkzambia (1931) - Boise, Idaho, USA - OCT 20, 2005
On Tap: at The Ram in Meridian. Clear amber color with an off-white head. This one is pretty sweet and rests firmly in the group of ambers that are like Full Sail’s. I prefer a little more of a bitter aftertaste. It had wheatty aromas. The taste was like cola. Not bad, but nothing to jump around about, like you just don’t care . . . badgerben (5177) - Blaine, Minnesota, USA - OCT 20, 2005
Dark amber color with no head. Aroma? Yeah, no. Flavor seems to be a little muddled grain on top of a moderate malty base. A non-offensive session beer.
