COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The most complex of our beer line-up with a combination of five different malts and four different hop varieties. Buttface has the broadest popular appeal of our beers. It has a high malt character and lack of evident hops. This surprises people because it is easy to drink, but has a higher alcohol content than what is perceived.

BVery (10510) - Plymouth, Minnesota, USA - NOV 11, 2014
Tap at the Schaumburg IL location. Mostly clear amber pour with no head. Aroma is sweet malts with a hint of Band-Aid. Earthy, or maybe just stale taste. Meh.

DuffMan (10436) - the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, CANADA - AUG 24, 2012
On tap @ C.I. Shenanigans in Spokane. Medium tea-coloured amber, no head. Sweet fruity caramel, low bitterness. Alright.

onceblind (9708) - Denver, Colorado, USA - OCT 18, 2010
On tap @ C.B. & Potts in Greenwood Village, CO. Copper in colour, bubbly off-white head. Smell is predominately malty and nutty. Taste is confusing. Its mainly malty with tones of liqorice, chocolate cream, with a finish that is only a whisper of grassy hops. Very creamy texture. Was not expecting this lack of a hop profile in an "Amber". It’s balanced for an Oktoberfest, and it would probably make more sense under that label. But, that aside, it’s a fine malty brew.

arminjewell (9676) - East Lansing, Michigan, USA - NOV 3, 2013
Pour on tap at the brewpub, clear red pour with thin white head, aroma is caramel, toffee, spice, toasted malt, hints of grass, slight touch of grain, hints of earth and biscuit notes as well, pretty decent. Taste is a mix of caramel, toffee, slight grass, hints of spice, finishing earthy, dry. Eh.

3fourths (9347) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - OCT 3, 2003
Deep amber brown. Looks like a bock. Typical malty syrup aroma and flavor, sticky and ugly. Malty, nutty and with some vanilla. Nothing worth continuing to write about.

b3shine (8878) - Indiana, USA - MAR 16, 2014
Draft to taster at Ram in Indy. Looks decent; a completely transparent copper with very thin eggshell lacing. Smells and tastes mildly sweet and malty with notes of caramel. Average on the palate. An underwhelming example of ghe style.

Had this on tap awhile back at the Indianapolis Ram, but unfortunately didn’t take good notes.

after4ever (8025) - Mukilteo, Washington, USA - OCT 26, 2008
Draft at the Tacoma Waterfront location. Crystal clear dark amber with no head, lace, or carb. Mild nutty nose. Light, somewhat watery body. Leafy, nutty, biscuity mid-palate. Pretty vacant finish. Years ago, I used to be able to drink this beer.

BMan1113VR (7931) - Los Angeles, California, USA - MAR 30, 2008
Had at Humperdinks on Greenville. Nice lacing. Reddish brown body with some hops, chocolate and fruit in the aroma. A nice amount of malt chocolate and wood in the taste. Watery mouthfeel.
