COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The most complex of our beer line-up with a combination of five different malts and four different hop varieties. Buttface has the broadest popular appeal of our beers. It has a high malt character and lack of evident hops. This surprises people because it is easy to drink, but has a higher alcohol content than what is perceived.

BuckeyeBoy (7534) - Boise, Idaho, USA - SEP 22, 2006
On tap at the Ram Brewing Boise, ID. Pours out a brown topped with a cream head. It has some caramel and roast not to bad.

Ughsmash (7508) - Pewaukee, Wisconsin, USA - FEB 27, 2007
On tap at Ram - Wheeling, IL. Poured a clear medium caramelly-amber with a dusting of white head. Nose was of caramel and sweet candy... rather week but OK. Flavor picked up semi-sweet caramel marred by unappetizing vegetal notes... mild floral bitterness and a sweet finish. Some sweetness on the palate and some bitterness... not at all memorable.

Strykzone (7306) - Wood River, Illinois, USA - AUG 18, 2010
Sampled at the Indy brewpub. Reddish color with a nice head. Some nice and complex stuff going on here. Sweet spice, nice malt, and some bittering hops. Nothing here is big and a good word for this beer is "subtle." I though it was a well done beer. One to please the novice beer drinker and beer geeks, too.

2.8
AmEricanbrew (6878) - Same Trailer, Different Park, Louisiana, USA - JAN 30, 2010
@ Ram N’gate. Clear amber color/ beige head. Mild spicy caramel aroma. medium body. Mild leafy hop flavors with a thin spicy caramel sweetness.

2.7
kramer (6682) - Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 8, 2017
Pours a clear dark amber body with a small wispy beige head. The nose is sweet caramel and toasty malt with just a hint of hops. The flavor is pretty off though, a weird grape like fruitiness that dominates the malt, especially on the finish. Lacking in hops, and slightly husky. Medium bodied and a little clingy with soft fizzy carbonation. Not the best, this one.

2.9
Braudog (6675) - Yorktown, Virginia, USA - NOV 19, 2003
Dark copper with a quickly dying head. There's a light smoky malt character here. It's smooth, undistinctive, but it's OK. Better than Bud.

Patrickctenchi (6554) - Cox’s Knob, columbus, Indiana, USA - JAN 26, 2014
Draft: at RAM, downtown Indy Clear, deep wet copper with a small, off white head. Caramel, nut aroma. Caramel malt, fruit, earthy, likeable mild bittering. Pretty good and straightforward.

Sampled at Ram-Rosemont, 10/26/15. Rating #4949.
Clear reddish color. Sorry lace. Caramel malts. There’s some roasted notes and a bit of earthy hops. Light-medium body. Okay beer.
