Deep amber brown. Looks like a bock. Typical malty syrup aroma and flavor, sticky and ugly. Malty, nutty and with some vanilla. Nothing worth continuing to write about. thirdeye11 (6160) - Dallas, Texas, USA - FEB 6, 2010
(draught) clear amber with ring of bubbles. Nose of apple, brown sugar, and sweet malt. Taste of apple, buttery, and wet corn huskiness/grainy. Bad palate linger. SudsMcDuff (8438) - .....Manchester United.........., Texas, USA - AUG 8, 2011
Draft @ Humperdinks, Dallas .. . smells like kids fruit juice .. . great head, no lacing .. . a bit to thin.. light fruit and grain .. . very little bitterness .. . The dream was over. Coming up, was the dream really over? Yes it was. Or was it? BVery (10606) - Plymouth, Minnesota, USA - NOV 11, 2014
Tap at the Schaumburg IL location. Mostly clear amber pour with no head. Aroma is sweet malts with a hint of Band-Aid. Earthy, or maybe just stale taste. Meh. brokensail (16486) - Dublin, California, USA - AUG 28, 2015
On tap @ Ram - Kent. Clear darker amber colored beer with white foam. Mostly toffee malt, some bread, and grassy hops. A light nuttiness, some acidic grain, and red fruits. Kind of tastes like toast, caramel, and grape fruit snacks. Bitter earth and grass on the finish. Pretty meh amber ale and also just a ridiculous name.

very dark amber color. Light beigh head.
NOSE- slightly malty scent, nothing overwhelming.
FLAVOR- slightly bitter at the start of the sip, maltiness comes through at the end. I don’t love the aftertaste. BillKismet (4072) - Seattle, Washington, USA - JAN 13, 2002
This beer has a nice amber color and head, but dissapointed on most other points. Rather bland tasting and unexciting. Aubrey (3516) - Bellingham, Washington, USA - OCT 27, 2002
Westminster, CO location: Nutty maltiness. Just OK amount of hop aromas/flavors; very little bitterness. Thin body makes it painfully easy to quaff. A good session beer, but not a lot of personality. bitbucket (2165) - Kirkland, Washington, USA - SEP 1, 2006
Draft at Ram in Seattle. Clear amber with a diminishing white head and spare lacing. Lighty floral toffee aroma. Medium/light body that goes a bit watery. Vaguely nutty roasted malt flavor with a lightly bitter dry finish. Interesting logo and name, but the brew falls a bit short. Frank (4208) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - AUG 22, 2010
This is a pretty typical American amber ale, which is the same as saying it’s sort of bland and vaguely malty. The style can be done well but this brownish amber beverage is not an example of that. It is a bit oversweet, medium bodied with mild carbonation. It is pretty much utterly forgettable.
