2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
12oz bottle...Pours a brownish-red hue...not much froth produced on this. Aroma is full of malt, carmel...not very intense though...Drinks pretty much as expected...body seems lighter than it is because the beer seems to be lacking in CO2...so it comes of a bit lifeless and flabby. Malts dominate with carmel being the main character. Sweet, but some slight lingering bitterness shows up...though not quite enough to balance out the crystal malts. This is something I can drink easily, although a more prominent hopping would help add some depth and balance. Thanks Brent! I enjoyed it.
UPDATED: AUG 30, 2017 Pours a clear brown Amber. Notes of malt and smoke in the taste. Mouthfeel more thin but finish is dry. Panzuriel (2333) - Westerville, Ohio, USA - JUL 29, 2017
Appearance: Medium red amber. Slightly hazy. Thin ring of white bubbles.
Nose: sweet medium roasted malt. Light caramel. Light roasted nuts
Taste: sweet caramel malt forward. Touch earthy. Touch caramel.
Body: Medium and smooth
Parting thoughts: Decent amber ale. Perhaps average to a smidge below.

From draft flight at Ram Columbus on June 22, 2017. Dark amber hue, nice sweet malty aroma, sweet malty flavor marred by medicinal taste. kramer (6682) - Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 8, 2017
Pours a clear dark amber body with a small wispy beige head. The nose is sweet caramel and toasty malt with just a hint of hops. The flavor is pretty off though, a weird grape like fruitiness that dominates the malt, especially on the finish. Lacking in hops, and slightly husky. Medium bodied and a little clingy with soft fizzy carbonation. Not the best, this one. stevoj (5438) - Boise, Idaho, USA - NOV 10, 2016
Draft at Boise brewery.Pretty bland.l Light, clear amber. Faint aroma and taste, genetic maltiness. Not much of a finish. Just all around weak.

Draft at source. Aroma of nutty bread and bread crust. Brownish red pour. Initially s bitter husky flavor followed by an underwhelming flat and thin mouthfeel. Tastes like bitter watered down coffee bnokk (539) - Lee, Massachusetts, USA - MAY 27, 2016
very dark amber color. Light beigh head.
NOSE- slightly malty scent, nothing overwhelming.
FLAVOR- slightly bitter at the start of the sip, maltiness comes through at the end. I don’t love the aftertaste. mintzmeet (457) - Seattle, Washington, USA - MAR 15, 2016
woah, looks pretty dark brown for an amber. no head. on draft at Rams in Northgate mall. Love the aroma, almost like chestnuts roasting on an open fire. Tastes like it smells but no roasted flavor really. nice carbonation pop to it. Some of the more nutty flavors taste "young." ben4321 (6678) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - OCT 26, 2015

Clear reddish color. Sorry lace. Caramel malts. There’s some roasted notes and a bit of earthy hops. Light-medium body. Okay beer.
RAM Restaurant. Ruby in color, off-white foam head, only ring remaining. Sweet aroma and taste, only later on turning little bitter. Still OK beer. (Chicago 201510)
