Hazy yellow color with no head. Slight banana aroma. Flavor is predominantly dry wheat with some muddled fruit lurking in the background.

StewardofGondor (1933) - Washington Heights - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - SEP 19, 2005
Schaumburg. Semi-hazy and pale yellow in color with a short creamy white head. Banana, cloves and vanilla bear the brunt of the aroma with some lemons and yeast lingering in the background. Nice creamy and effervescent feel. Lemons shine in the beginning, transitioning to a slight searing sense. Smooth vanilla and a dash of pepper - paired with unripe bananas - finish things up. Decent.

SuIIy (1984) - Burlington, Vermont, USA - AUG 21, 2005
Draft. Pours very cloudy, dark yellow. Nose is fruity like bananas and oranges. Taste is banana with lots of bubblegum, oranges and lemons.

Uriel (146) - San Jose, California, USA - AUG 17, 2005
Sweet, small head that disappears almost immediately. Clove, orangeymalt aroma. Very light mouthfeel, mildy hoppy. Not much to this, but a drinkable beer.

JoshuaB (476) - Detroit, Michigan, USA - AUG 14, 2005
Murky golden color with fluffy white head. Aroma is all about cloves and bananas, as well is the taste. A bit of a thicker body than I was expecting, but this was a decent brew from a generic suburban chain brewpub.

KAggie97 (3529) - Ugly, Hot, and Humid Spring, Texas, USA - JUL 23, 2005
Pours a slighty cloudy yellow, but needs more haze. Aroma is clove and banana. The flavor starts promising with banana and slight bubblegum, but finishes weak and flat. Thick mouthfeel. Needs more assertiveness in the finish to be better.

3.2
Crosling (1864) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - JUL 4, 2005
Cloudy orange haze. Light estery aroma with hints of fruit (orange, banana.) Nutty and sweet malts flavors, quite balanced, with banana, clove and orange flavors, along with a hint of vanilla. A pretty nice recipe for a hefe and this batch was brewed quite well.

OutHouseDilemma (70) - Crowley, Texas, USA - JUN 2, 2005
On tap Arlington, TX..... I orderd another full glass after the sample of this beer. I kinda enjoyed it. It really looked like a unibroue beer, without the big head. Very small head. I could really smell the bananas in this beer. The taste is really close to a unibroue beer without the alc and wood flavor. Decent beer.

stoutchap (424) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUN 2, 2005
On tap in Schuamburg, IL. Cloudy yellow appearance - typical of a hefe. Average white head. Light banana aroma with some wheat and subtle fruitiness. Nice medium mouthfeel. Aromas come out in flavor, without overpowering you with fruit or bananas. Good finish - a solid and refreshing Hefe.

3.4
Tmoney99 (15114) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - MAY 31, 2005
Draft in Indy. Cloudy amber hue with average white head. Complex aroma and flavor of wheat, banana and clove. Medium to full body with long sweet finish.
