This draft brew at the brewery in Indianapolis poured a small head of fine to medium sized mostly lasting bubbles that left behind a good lace. The body was a hazy yellow-white color and it had a banana wheat yeast aroma that was very nice. The mouth feel was smooth tingly and fruity with a banana malt flavor. This was very nice for a Hefe-Weizen made in the USA very true to the style and very good. michael-pollack (4959) - King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 27, 2004
Draught: Light yellow in color. Cloudy and hazy. Lasting but quickly dimminishing average creamy white head. Hay malts, herb and citrus hops. Flavors of banana, clove, pear, butter, honey, cinnamon, and corriander. Full body, thick texture. Slightly sweet. A good hefe. GeneralGao (3614) - Iowa City, Iowa, USA - JUL 11, 2006
Draught at the brewpub. Hazy, translucent yellow color with thin white head. Nose and flavor are similar; lots of banana and clove. Unusual bitterness at the end, but pretty good. dwyerpg (6180) - Las Vegas, Nevada, USA - JUL 31, 2007
Nice German hefe. Flavor has some banana and a little clove, but doesn’t come off too wheaty. Really a great example of the style. Vir4030 (603) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUN 25, 2010
Very light and frothy with a slight citrus aroma. Very fruity flavor, yet distinctly mild.

Decent Bavarian style hef. Lacks the full flavor of the style, but is still solidly drinkable.

Enjoyed on tap @ Ram restaurant Salem, OR with Erick 1-17-14. Visually, to be expected. Ok head, white frothy. But the flavor is a nice mix of wheat, bubble gum and then distinct banana. 8.8 BD Cornfield (5570) - Oak Forest, Illinois, USA - DEC 2, 2004
UPDATED: JUL 20, 2005 A cloudy, hazy orange drink with a sudsy off-white head, this has a strong banana aroma, complemented by grassiness, a dab of malt, and some spiciness. Very soft in the mouth, this tastes like banana, cloves, a touch of lemon, and light malts. It’s got a very clean finish and makes for a refreshing drink.bitbucket (2165) - Kirkland, Washington, USA - SEP 1, 2006

Draft at Ram in Seattle. Cloudy pale amber with a diminishing but lacy white head. Medium to light body with light carbonation. The taste and aroma are loaded with bananas. There’s bananas and fruit and vanilla and banana and citrus and honey and bananas and cloves. Oh, and I forgot bananas. The finish is lightly clove-bitter. Great example of the style. pjk33 (390) - Sligo - Curllsville Heights, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 17, 2006
Draught, at Dallas location. We drank many of these watching some college football games and having dinner after attending a boring TCU Texas Tech game. Great nose of coriander, citrus, and spice... flavor is also a great one, on par with some of the best weizens that I’ve had... cloudy orange and a nice light crisp taste. Very good.
