Draft to taster at the Fishers brewpub. Looks subpar for a hefeweizen; a mostly transparent golden orange with white lacing. Smells solid; banana-forward with a soft, well-balanced clove presence. Tastes like it smells, but with more clove, and with some spiced loaf as well. Mouthfeel is medium-bodied. Decent, but smells better than it tastes, and lacks the wheaty presence and mouthfeel characteristic of the style.

Pours a slightly cloudy yellow body with a small fizzy white head. The nose is pretty decent, lots of banana and clove with some yeastiness and wheat. The flavor is maybe a bit thin, but it’s decent. Lots of overripe bananas, lighter clove, sufficient yeastiness. Medium bodied with a nice smooth texture and soft fizzy carbonation. Decent effort.

Draft at source. Nose is peppery phenolic, clove and vanilla mostly without much banana or bubble gum. Hazy medium yellow. Small white head. Taste is moderately bitter with a weird graininess. Not very creamy and has some weird grassiness or something going on. Almost like bad dishwater.

Draft at Humperdink’s in Arlington with Patty after Dallas cowboy stadium tour. A cloudy beer that has a small white ring. Cloves, lemon and banana aromas with some wheat. Flavor is pretty much the same. Some nice malt arrives late. A pleasant and sweet beer that has some decent zing.

Sampled at Ram-Rosemont, 10/26/15. Cloudy gold orange color. Wheat and light spice. Overly fizzy. Just okay.

On tap at Big Horn U District, pours a cloudy yellow with an orange tint and a small white head. Nose brings out a good balance of banana and spicy clove. Flavour is along the same lines, with a great mix of banana and clove, and no annoying bubblegum esters. Well-balanced and clean. Very good.

On tap @ Ram - Kent. Hazed yellow colored beer with white foam. Kind of lemony and some orange peel, too. A light banana note, some tangy grain, and bubblegum. Some light clove spice and a fair bit of sweet grain flavor. Slightly bready, maybe some yeast, and white pepper. Not terrible.
