Appearance: Clear golden with a medium sized white head and lots of lacing left in the glass
Aroma: Caramel and some spices
Taste: Sweet caramel with a light medicinal finish
Body is medium yellow.
lightly malty (cookie, grain),
moderately hoppy (herbs, flowers).
moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter.
lightly sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter.
Medium to full body, velvety texture, lively carbonation.
Bitterness never really develops, leaving this too sweet to drink much of. Nice mouthfeel though. Ughsmash (7510) - Pewaukee, Wisconsin, USA - APR 10, 2007
On tap at Ram - Rosemont, IL. Poured a clear lighter coppery orange with a very light dusting of off-white head. Aroma picked up some caramel surrounded by woodsy notes.. some floral.. sweet overall and a touch toasty. Flavor picked up lightly smoked drawn caramel, some sweetener, leafy hoppage, and some alcohol... not very well-made, but drinkable enough. Light-medium bodied and thicker on the back-end.. rather poor flow to it. Not so good. nuplastikk (6456) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - MAR 6, 2016
