Clear brilliant golden with a thin foamy cap. Big bready German nose with a gentle floral hop undertone. Crisp and big German malty blonde flavor with a full palate, and a gentle floral grassy German bitterness. Very subtle hoppiness as its quote blonde malty and bready. Tap at Dallas location. Ooh...not bad. Nice sweet-spicy aroma and flavor. Ginger-cinnamonlike. Hints of tart citric elements as well - somewhere between orange, lemon, and grapefruit. BrewDad (5667) - Olympia, Washington, USA - APR 25, 2007

Deep amber color with a thin head. This lager went down very smooth and was full of malty flavors. There where some hints of spices and other lingering characters. This was a decent beer. Hope to drink more.
Had on draft at the brewpub in Boise. Clear golden, light spicy phenolic, pilsner maltiness, lightly sweet malty finish burgy (460) - Minnetonka, Minnesota, USA - JUN 6, 2012
I thought this was a pretty damn tasty beer. Very surprised about the low ratings.

Tap at Rhythm and Booms Filtered orange-yellow body, traditional heller-bock look. Classic and true to style. Enjoyable. highibus (823) - Vail, Arizona, USA - MAY 9, 2010
Pours a light copper with thin white head. Light lacing disapates quickly. Nice aroma of sweet malt. Flavor is clean and sharp. Lightly sweet finish. Decent. Merc (313) - Pullman, Washington, USA - JUN 28, 2002
This beer really exceeded my expectations. I was pleasantly surprised. Strongly malty without being syrupy, with a decent hop backbone. Ratman197 (15346) - Arvada, Colorado, USA - MAY 28, 2006
On tap @ C.B. Potts Broomfield poured a clear gold with a small dissapating white head. Aromas of sweet malt, light fruit [apple, pear] and carmel. Palate was light bodied and crisp. Flavors of sweet malt, hint of carmel and a bit of citrus with a crisp clean finish. Oscbert (1319) - Lincoln, California, USA - MAY 12, 2009
