On tap in Dallas, TX. Pours a clear orange with a small, off-white head. Aroma is sweet with caramel and other malts. Taste is nutty with caramel. Dryish mouthfeel with light carbonation. BrewDad (5328) - Olympia, Washington, USA - SEP 19, 2008
<b>Taster - Washington Beer Commission Oktoberfest - Seattle, WA jake65 (3694) - Meridian, Idaho, USA - OCT 5, 2007
Aroma – Good malt and hops balance in the aroma.
Appearance – Amber in color, clear with a light head.
Flavor – A tasty Oktoberfest with a good malt and hops flavor. This was well balanced.
Palate – Crisp Mouthfeel, nice texture with a dry finish.
Overall – A very nice beer easy to drink this was well brewed.
Draft: Pours a transparent dark amber color with a smaller head. Nice lacing. Nose is faint of malty sweetness with light hops. Tastes malty and lageresque without a strong or definitive character. Looks great (no kidding, like a "5"), but smells and tastes pretty weak and watery. truegen (167) - Puyallup, Washington, USA - SEP 22, 2007
Draft at the South Hill Puyallup Ram. Outstanding representative of the style. Deep, rich amber color. Malty, mapley sweetness, with a nearly perfect touch of hops. Perhaps just a touch heavy on the palate for a fest-marzen, but I’d drink plenty more of this. BeerHawk (1810) - Huntsville, Alabama, USA - NOV 19, 2006
Draft. Amber in the glass with a thin off-white head. Subdue malty aroma. The flavor found spices, caramel and was lightly toasted. Light body, dry and high carbonation on the tongue. Slight toasty aftertaste.

(Tap) Pours amber without much of a head. Malty and slightly nutty. Dry, bland aftertaste. Rather refreshing, but not something I could drink a lot of. IrishBoy (4199) - Bakersfield, California, USA - OCT 7, 2006
Draft at CB Potts, Cheyenne; Nose of hops; gold with a small white head; flavor of hops and a bit of caramel. chicagobears (473) - Elk Grove Village, Illinois, USA - SEP 30, 2006
Darker looking than most Oktoberfests. The draught was served with hardly any head. For a micro brewed Oktoberfest this was good (not that I’ve had any others). Then again,I wasn’t expecting Paulaner. Its sweet, malty, has a decent roasted taste. Nothing special but its still enjoyable. beerinmarch (2830) - Washington, USA - SEP 23, 2006
Sweet and malty up front with a lot of fruitiness in the finish. Darker copper in color with a soft white head. Not to bad, better then most other local oktoberfest beers i’ve had recently. oldrtybastrd (5002) - Fort Walton Beach, Florida, USA - JAN 1, 2006
Amber colored, malty aroma with hints of sweetness? A sweet and very long finish, with a little bitterness. Overall not to bad.
