Draft sample at the Schaumburg RAM. More hop on the nose, and I also scent a bit of unfiltered yeast. Reddish amber in color. Tinge of roastiness to the taste, like a Vienna version of an English bitter. Caramel, toast, toffee, and light hop spice on the nose. Slightly sweet from the ale yeast. Pours dark reddish, thin tan head. The flavor is light and sweet with caramel, toast, toffee, a little nutty, light earthy bitterness, and a clean crisp sweetness to round out this finish. Not a bad beer by any means, just somewhat uninteresting.
