4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Clove on the nose, banana on the palate. Smooth and easy drinking. Fairly light bodied for a beer of this strength, but still full of rich fruity and malty flavors. Growler from CB Potts Ft Collins, CO. $5.99!
On Tap at the Boise BP Hazy medium brown with a litt orange highlights. Classic malty slightly fruity and spice aroma. Flavor was a bit subdued, but the typical banana and sweet holiday spice are here. medium body and overall seemed a bit light. Maybe was expecting more along the line of a "dopple-" Very tasty. I forget how much I like this style and the yeast that is typically used.

UPDATED: MAR 29, 2015 At the Rosemont location. Lacking the strong banana clove smell that I enjoy. Some very out of place smokey flavor. Didn’t work for me. Serving: Tap TheRealMGD (555) - Lakewood, Washington, USA - DEC 19, 2011
