On tap at the brewery. Pours a dark ruby brown with medium off white head that lasts. The aroma is roast and cracker malt. Medium mouth, similar flavors to nose, light dryness, good.

On tap @hood river brewery. Cocoa cordial nose. Weak Sudsy head. Opaque burnt Siena color. Watery finish, mild malts. Enjoyable, quaffable. Sweet overall character, but that is muted well. 7.9 bd

fiulijn (20427) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - APR 8, 2015
Draught at the brewpub; 7% ABV
Black color with creamy head. The malts are dark but not too roasty, there is a minimal chocolate component, and mild sweetness.
This would be a nice Foreign Stout.

Dark brown in color. Thick dark roast with chocolate and coffee aromas. Flavor was rich with dark malts and the coffee came off quite nice. This very nice and was great to drink.
