Not for the faint of heart. A light colored American style India Pale Ale. Very bitter! This Strong Ale gets it’s grape fruit like bitterness from hearty amounts of Chinook hops. For Hop heads only! Chinook, Columbus, Cascade, Centennial hops. Crisp Maris Otter malt. OG 1.068.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a hazy gold with medium frothy off white head that lasts. The aroma is tropical fruit and dank. Thin mouth, juicy hop, grapefruit, nice light bitterness, very good.

Appearance: very slight haze, average golden color, pours with a large off white head Aroma: pale malt grain, some pine, Taste: grass, dank, pine, strong bitterness, very pale backbone Palate: average carbonation, light mouthfeel, bitter aftertaste Overall: delicious ipa, very floral and lots of hop flavors over the bitterness, minimal sweetness, very drinkable ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap @ hood river brewery. Best of their beers I’ve had. Piney hops are solid, tolerable bitter finish. Good IPA example. Solid transparent blonde color. 8.8 bd

Draught at the brewpub; 6.2% ABV
Hazy golden color with compact head. Delicate pale malts perfectly support this ale loaded with citrusy hops, a real hop explosion. Easy to drink.
Very good. More expressive than the Strictly Rude #15.

Imaena (2359) - Maputo, MOZAMBIQUE - SEP 27, 2013
Draught. For the west coast this is a flimsy IPA. I was hoping for more bite and grassyness.

dfinney23 (3424) - Houston, Texas, USA - JUL 25, 2012
Bitter to the point of being one-dimensional. Citrus and floral, citrus and floral, etc.

Alphadelic (2249) - Portland, Oregon, USA - MAY 18, 2012
A dry and very Columbus oriented green-tea/marijuana nose. Crisp with a tight and light carbonation. A light kiwi flavour and acidity with a slow bitterness. The carbonation reminds me Kronenburg 1664 and I don’t mean that as an insult, it just does. I think it’s nice, the bitterness builds a little too intensely and that weedy flavour could become too much if I bought more than a glass.

dchmela (3088) - Orlando, Florida, USA - APR 22, 2011
Tap at the brewpub. Light amber pour with a thin white head. Big citrus hop aroma. Nice smooth malt body, caramel and a big citrus hop bitterness. Good brew.
