Pint, (I was only allowed the one), at the Wheatsheaf Felling. Dark reddish brown with a thin off-white head. Dark chocolate aroma, with a bit of farmyard. Chocolate flavour brings to mind an Imperial Stout, but there’s some complexity at work here with hints of licquorice, soy sauce, and Shiraz. Slightly sticky mouth feel, warming alcohol a lovely beer to linger over.
